Thank you PNB Merdeka Ventures for the opportunity to preview the tallest level in Merdeka 118! The briefing was insightful and the views breathtaking even though it was slightly cloudy! Truly a proud icon of Malaysia! Can't wait for to try out the glass elevator and visit the other sights once fully opened! Well done!
We start at the Minangkabau Lobby before proceeding to the Elevators to Level 76 for Interchange Elevators to Level 92 PNB Main Reception. A very informative Briefing was held for the visitors with some refreshments prepared for us at Sampin 2. The view on Level 92 was already breathtaking!
We need to take another Elevator before climbing the last flight of stairs to Level 118! What a view even though the day was slightly cloudy! Enjoy!

Why the building name is so long (PNB Menara Merdeka 118 Tower)? ❓😵💫❔
@@Mindcroscope Just call it Merdeka 118, because the tower is consisting of 118 floors, and the antenna on the top almost symbolic to Allahyarham Tunku Abdul Rahman's hand gesture when he shouts "Merdeka!", hence the name.

Maybank Tower used to be the tallest building (60 floors) in KL back then in the late 80s and look now it looks so dwarfed from this vantage point.
I can barely see the cars on the road from this height too.
I just can’t wait for the official opening of the world’s 2nd tallest building Merdeka118 (somewhere in Q3 2024) 😎
I am also very excited and hope to come back after the public viewing gallery is opened. You can even see cloud! Yeah I remember when Maybank was the tallest!

Ini kalau dah buka kat publik memang jem dan padatlah tren dan stesen MRT laluan Kajang menuju ke stesen MRT Merdeka tu nanti, kabarnya ada tunnel pejalan kaki dari dlm stesen MRT Merdeka terus ke dlm Merdeka 118 maybe tembus ke mall yg katanya dlm mall tu siap ada air terjun dan lift yg unik dan menggayatkan
Saya rasa Monorel dan MRT Laluan SBK adalah cara paling senang untuk ke Merdeka 118. Harap boleh sapot dan Subscribe ya.

8:48-that was the tallest & grandest building in KL back in the 1980s.Dayabumi.It was the Merdeka 118/Petronas Twin Towers/KL Tower of its' time😄

When did you filmed this? The 118th floors seems like it still far from finished, maybe the 118th floor will only fully open in 2025?
Videoed this month. It was an invitation and we get to preview the highest level. Level 118 is actually reserved for events and thus being done up at the moment. The concept art is in their website. The Observation deck below will be for the public but most likely open end 2024 or early 2025. When grand opening?
The tower was officiated early this year but public access has yet to be announced. It is in stages. Next up is the Stadium Merdeka at Merdeka Boulevard 118 Park on 30 August 2024. Come check it out as the views are superb. Getting into the Observation deck is probably end of the year or 2025. Do keep a look out or Subscribe to @exploremalaysia for updates. This level 118 will be opened for public visit later just like Petronas Towers
The top most floor is under renovation as a event venue once it is open for booking thus it is being prepared at the moment. Looks great on the official website though. Let's see once it is finished.
