I'm glad you think so! I need to make an update video now that iOS 14 has been released. Shortcuts got some new capabilities but everything covered in this video works the same. Also note that you can download the shortcut from the link in the video description!
You can use the Open URLs action and feed it the web address from the share link on the playlist or artist page. You can put the share link into a Text action if need be. You will still manually have to hit play as a next step. The play pause action could work if what you want to play is already queued up in Spotify. Let me know if I need to explain this better. @@followdon I had to keep pausing to get all the steps until I got the hang of it. I think it's working but the true test will be tomorrow when Dennis and I float all the way to Clifton (with at least one charging stop). For the Play new music app - I did "Play Music" and add another step "Open Spotify". I think the one thing that would have helped me was a screenshot of all the steps together... Anyway, great job!

This is awesome! Great to meet you several weeks ago at Haines Point! For playing music, can I use Open App and select a Spotify playlist?
