One thing to note with Kanos' snap is that you also don't have to wait for the 10 second death period to go through. Landing another Fstrong within that time instantly kills them without having to wait for the opponent to die on their own
While not nearly as big most of the moves listed, I think Jirachi's Down Special is worth noting. For those not in the know, Jirachi's Down Special, Doom Desire, set's down an eye trap. After a set duration, a series of large, powerful lightning bolts strikes down on the opponent where the eye trap was spawned, dealing massive damage and killing the opponent at low percents. You can also set it off early by knocking an opponent into it. It's mostly used as a flashy combo ender, but since the move has a set duration and the indication of where it's spawned is clear, a good opponent can play around it. These shortcomings however make the move that much more satisfying and rewarding to land.
Regigigas is this concept if it was a whole character instead of a single move, for a whole minute you're playing keep away and after that you have a top tier character
Slow Start in the actual Pokemon games: The single most hindering ability in the franchise. Slow Start in Smash: "Now, hold on, can you give me like, five minutes, I just finished-- [*slap*] --NEVERMIND, WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS"
Reminder that Saffron has a 2- cost spell that copies your last spell meaning you can cast explosion twice and the second one costs less than half of the first one
I was making a new The Vessel for a while before I crapped out working on it. But his charged upB was sick af, the Howling Wraiths. Just like the game, it was 3 big hits, that lead into each other and killed off the top final hit. Tons of hitpause, sprite ripped from the beautiful animation of the original game, beefy hit that killed at like 60ish. Was proud of it
Dan Backslide's Up Special is extremely powerful in that it's a multihit move that spawns Dora Standpipe to stand there and kick anyone that comes near. It's probably one of the most versatile moves in the entire Workshop because of how much stage control it gives you - though you do have to be a bit careful as Dora can also kick the one who deployed her, and Dan isn't very heavy.
Zetta (not you hehe) new update give her a super move once you maxed her halo out, its not realisticly or consistent to get, but it's still a crazy one ! The rework just came out, so not many people've seen it yet. You probably could count all of Vergil/Birgil Strongs actually xD
It was nice to see Lucy & Amvira here. I really like using both of them. Another fun powerful move is Roxey Aoreolum's side special after she reaches level 5, lowers the enemy to 1 life, loses all her health, & stockpiles 5 break points. It's a tall order but if you can manage all of that, you have a move that's very easy to land, drags the enemy very high, & does 999 damage before launching them. Noelle from Deltaune has one too. She needs a full 100 TP to use it, which is hard to manage since her strongs & specials all require TP but it almost always kills & is the biggest attack I've ever seen so it's very easy to land & she can even regain a small amount of TP by hitting enemies while they're caught in it. You can guess what it is if you've played Deltarune. I'd be interested in an Unown video.
if you fill Siren's meter entirely, her neutral special becomes a very powerful laser, but on the flipside, you take constant, very fast damage as long as the meter is full, so you need to use it quickly
You asked for delayed insta-kills in other games, Jump Ultimate Stars has one in the form of the Light Yagami support koma. You activate it and Light writes the opponent's name on the Death Note, making them die in 10 seconds or something like that, I don't remember the specifics.
Yeah, that's how it works. As far as I remember, the only ways to survive it are by stopping him before he finishes or intentionally getting a negative status effect to replace the death status effect before the timer runs out. One of Kenshiro's moves works the same way.
I couldn't find unknown or katie! Those 2 were the ones I was most exited about. could someone please tell me why they don't come up for me when searched?
It's an option in casual matchmaking. Be warned that you can only use characters both you and your opponent have installed though, a lot of people prefer to matchmake through the Rivals Workshop Discord because of that: discord.gg/XGqc35BQwj
They just felt very low effort to me. A lot of the information they contain can be obtained just by playing or looking at the character. They're also not great for viewer engagement, either.
@@Zetta330 A shame because it's a great way to advertise a character & convince people to buy the game if they're on the fence. That's what did it for me.
What about MDL4848- 's Gohan Full Meter Command Input (A+B+↓) Basically a built in Final Smash but slow to build consider you need full meter. His Goku and Vegeta also have a similar move, with more meter managing as they have meter-consuming Ki Blasts. SSJ4 Gogeta (DLshadows) also has an instant kill. 7 Taunts + Neutral B = 396% and an instant KO. Additionally, DinoBros' X & [B] 2 also has a (Weaker) Magic Burst (Finite Magic Vortex), But The Just Cause (Kamakaze) is more satisfying and strong.

I think you should check out the Bowser V2 NPC. Not only is he massive and powerful, but he has a special attack function..

I feel like if the Rivals developers recruited Sai then they could easily come up with a couple new unique characters for Rivals 2.
You forgot the greatest attack of them all, Club Penguin’s mighty Taunt!
i was wondering why saffron wasnt included in the magic burst section, but that makes more sense
great video!
because she had all three sections, putting her in separate sections would make us see her a lot of times
