  • We built Matt Dennison's ( ‪@mahalomydude‬ ) 4Runner out for overlanding, shuttling bikes and Mall Crawling! We installed King Suspension, Camburg UCA's, Method Wheels and Falken Wildpeak tires to help get him where he's going. There were hurdles with his 4Runner build; seized cam bolts and lower control arms, roasted brakes, and forgotten keys, but we got it done! Not to mention we made sure Matt got pranked along the way. It was a fun build and we can't wait to get out wheeling, camping, and biking with Matt soon!
    Matt's build consists of:
    King Suspension
    Camburg UCA's
    Falken Wildpeak AT3 285/75R17
    Method 701 Bronze
    Cali-Raised Sliders
    Prinsu Roof Rack
    RhinoRack Batwing Awning
    Tepui RTT
    Pit Viper Cut

It’s crazy how much has to be done in order to go from a 33” to 34” tire on the 4Runner…and this didn’t even mention regearing.

You don’t have to regear anything. You can, but it’s never needed.

Great video. Do you ever see any problems with or recommend an aftermarket boot for lifted 4Runners...?

You can get high angle CV boots, but if you keep your lift to 2.5" or less, you shouldn't have any issues.

Method is zero offset? Any spacers?

What pound springs on the coil overs, and what height Icon rear springs? TIA!

    • @braedenhitchcock7266
      @braedenhitchcock7266 Год назад

The rear coils are the Icon 52800. The Kings have 650lb coils on them

@Braeden Hitchcock I run 600 lb. On my Kings with aluminum front bumper and skids. I've wondered if I should have done 650. I have the 3/4" Icon rear....may have to increase one day with rear bumper.

@@Reverend1776 If the ride height is where you want it, and the ride isn't too soft, you should be good!

I don't remember now, it was quite a while ago, but we usually aim for around 2-2.5"
