I tried suggested method on this video but couldn't get ta to work. I then followed the method that was suggested by Michelle Mendieta and I was able to reset it on the first attempt. I guess the trick is to put your car on reverse and turn off the engine. This would allow you to turn on/off 5 times much quicker. Thank you Michelle for the tip.
For my 2015 Honda CR-V I wasn't able to get it to start using this method because it took too long. Instead, I started the car, put it in reverse, turned the car off and took my foot off the brake. Then I hit the start button rapidly to turn it on and off 5 times (car didn't go into reverse since it was off). I then hit the lock button on the remote and it programmed on the first try. When you are in reverse and turn the car off you only have to hit the start button once to get it to turn on so you can get the 5 in very quickly. Hope this helps others that are having the same issue programming the remote for their push to start cars!
Let me add. It gets more complicated (at least for me) If you have one remote working already. And want to add a second. If I use the instructions for adding 1 remote I get 1 remote to work but not both. And if I use the instructions for 2. The one that worked will still work. But not both. What has worked twice for me is to hit lock on the new remote and key on the existing remote. They both work finally
Nothing worked for me until I replaced my car battery (it was a little weak and if the car sat for a couple days it wouldn't be able to start) So either disconnecting and reconnecting the terminals did a hard reset on the device or it just didn't have enough juice, but it worked immediately afterwards.
Will this work if I install an aftermarket push button start kit if it's one that uses passive keyless entry fobs? (not rfid fobs but similar to factory oem PKE systems)

Hello, I need some help please. I do the pairing and the antenna lights first red then green and the lights on the car click twice as it should but when I test the remote no reaction 😢 I disconnect the battery of the car for two minutes and when reconnect it the only thing I get is the compustar remote vibrating when lock/unlock the car with the OEM remote. Is the remote defective or there something more I can do? I tried with disconnecting the antenna and nothing happened with that fix. My remote is 2WT9R-FM. I hope someone helps because I can’t find to buy a second one in my country 😅. Thank you!
is this works for Honda HRV 2016 and computstar remote, after installing new module for start problem, I need to redo programming on computstar as honda is not doing it
Doesn't work. My battery is fine. I have the 1WAM4R remote which is 12 years old. Why do remote start manufactures make reprogramming so convoluted. You are all also different to do the same thing in the end. Why not just do it the way a garage door is programed? Press and hold the antenna button and press and hold the remote button and done.
Do I need all my computstar key fobs in the car when programming this compustar? like I need them all in the car if I was programming the fobs that came from the dealer.

It worked! I pretty much pressed the button 15 times(2 push to turn on 1 to turn off) then pressed the lock button on the remote start fob.
