They always leave out the Prime T9 remote which is pretty much what everyone actually needs. It’s the exact same as the Pro T11 but with a range of 3000ft and without the waterproof and shock resistance case.
Yeah that's no coincidence they probably don't want you to save all that money but rather you spend all the extra money on the bells and whistles... just saying
im pissed that i cant find info on the older kits... used truck with a remote start not wrkn properly and i called compustar and they made it worce and just shrugged it off. im sure there was youtube vids but no longer can find em. sigh* makes ya wonder if google owns em... Does compustar have a pke system? I'd like to add passive key functionality to my 350z as well as a pushbutton/remote start .. Can't seem to find a kit that isn't a $40 eBay kit... I want a good finish and build quality.
If I installed a Prime 2WG9 kit, could I later on decide to buy an upgraded remote like the Prime 901, Pro 902, or Pro T11 without having to change out the brain/antenna?
No you will need to change the antenna. Each kit comes with two remotes and an antenna. The brains can stay the same. Some remote kits will cross over but only if the spectrum / frequency is the same. it both AM signal.
Just had the PRO T11 installed on my vehicle and although it's well made and a well functioning system, the LED remote is not legible in bright daylight or direct sunlight. When contacting customer service they informed me that they had never had a complaint about this and that I should cup my hand over the remote to be able to see it better. That is just a stupid suggestion, especially if you are walking with a cane and carrying an armful of groceries. I have confirmed this problem with several other owners. For their top of the line product I would have expected better!
Hello, does FTX2400 comes with FT-D100 (ads-2cs decoder)??? I have a problem, ive ordered an ADS-BM1 remote start, but it didnt came with any remotes (older kit) then i ordered a RF-FTX2400 which i think should of came with ads-2cs but it didnt, so i have to talk to one of the places that they send me this piece! PPLEASE ADVISE
the ADS-BM1 models (older ones that didnt come with remotes) came with the ADS decoder. There is newer decoders now available on the market. you can buy them online seperate but, decoders do not come with remote kits ever.

Well explained. But confused at why the Proline G8 says 1 way at the top 5:12 and at the bottom it says 2 way LED Remote Kit..?!
Haha good point, mistake in packaging, the G8 is 100% only a 1 way remote!
