    Mr Spatola is a beautiful person; he puts the subject/client first. What is unsaid is the trust his clients have in him, it’s no small matter and he should be recognized for that.

    Thanks Chris, Thanks Michael, the state of the Art on both sides, every thing look so simple here ! But we all know how making people photographies is challenging : one shoot, a fraction of second exposure for hours of preparation where everything will never be a detail. Thanks for sharing.

      Thank you Florian! I can talk for hours on this subject, as Chris discovered, and I know he spent tons of time trying to edit down all that footage to something easier to digest.

    I really enjoyed this video Chris - You guys make a great combo. Yes, I should have taken notes but next viewing. He is really an interesting character with a wealth of knowledge provided so simply. Matched yr. style. Very professional with a topic that a lot of folks can really screw up. I loved how he described the impact that he saw in the client's expression when 1st shown the photo.

    I could also tell many stories about low esteem was abandoned.
    One shoot stands out, 2 women in their early forties with 5 children. Both had been abandoned by their husbands and physically abused one had a scar on her face and her husband had actually tried to murder her.
    Their self esteem was rock bottom and they both wanted to feel good again.
    The location was a small waterfall ans stream in an old woodland.
    It was not long before the 2 girls were having the time of their life splashing around in the stream like 2 eight year olds.
    Needless to say the photos were great and the 2 ladies felt good again.
    A shoot that I was a little reluctant to do turned out to be one of the most rewarding that I have ever done.

    This is a very educating "conference like" interview video. This professional photographer seems very passionate about his work. I know nothing about this type of photography, but it is always an eye magnet for me. I must say I feel his approach sounds wonderful. Thank you for showing some of his work as well, it is worth seeing. And thank you for the models as well. Without them (photographer + models) there would have been no magic.

    first of all thanks @pal2tech once again for a great video. Can somebody explain me, the WB trick Michael is talking about (around min. 29)? I didnt get that.

    • @LifestyleBoudoir
      @LifestyleBoudoir 6 месяцев назад

      It's a little hard to explain, but essentially you've set the camera to "auto white balance" if you place a gray card in the scene, you can point the camera at it and lock the auto white balance onto that gray card reading by pushing down on the D-Pad. The white balance will stay locked on that until you push down on the D-Pad a 2nd time. I basically do this for every different lighting set up I do. Just a very fast way of getting a good white balance for a specific scene. I hope that helps. I actually learned this trick from a pal2tech video from a while back.

    • @vallilenguaCC
      @vallilenguaCC 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@LifestyleBoudoir oh that🙈 thanks for clarifying. I actually also learned that from an old @pal2tech video (like almost everything). Just didn't get it in this video. Thank you so much
