Cardiacs live at Frozenland 1998 - Dog Like Sparky

A final song made of the 1998 Frozenland Cardiacs rushes (Leeuwarden, Holland) Sorry for the bad audio. Although this song was not completely recorded, I have combined different sources to make the song complete. That's why the first part of the song has sound from the table-mix and the last minute is a more crappy stage-sound. And if you watch it carefully, you can discover some double takes :-) Hope you'll enjoy it anyway.

There's never been another band like the Cardiacs and there never will be. Every song twists and turns and sizzles with unnerving energy. The almost constant key changes create a feeling of disorientation unlike any other music I know. They're not tunes to relax to, but with the complexity crammed into each one there's never a dull moment!

It’s not just you! Only half of Dog Like Sparky was recorded from the audio mixer linked to camera 1. The rest was crappy sound from the onstage camera 2 microphone. Also some of the camera 2 video-closeups are used several times to fill the gap. I edited this from VHS copies of the rushes many years later. That’s also why ‘Duck’ is not edited at all. That is just camera 1, but it has the better sound.
