You are one of my big inspirations for persuing a 1 man band. Even though Im working with a friend on getting a whole band together & have played with other musicians as well, I still think that being able to play everything yourself is essential to truly understand what each section is doing & use it to your advantage, to know what you can layer ontop of a different instrument loop. I really love the dark Meinl cymbal series, it really holds up against other instruments in a extreme metal setting. Meinl is 1 of my favorite cymbal brand as well. While there might be instances of using a foreign brand for the Chinas & Splashes, such as Zultan, Zildjian or Wuhan, Meinl Crashes just have such a warm & full echoing sound, especially Bronze types. But brass cymbals aren't really suitable no matter what brand unless you are rehearsing alone. Imo What brand are you using for drums btw? And the vocals are such boss level perfection, it's amazing how far you have come my friend. Even though I commented on your channel quite a few times over the years, I have a new account now. But I digress. Could you perhaps please consider covering something by Xasthur. He is hands down one of my favorite 1 man black metal artist. And his Telepathic with the Deceased is truly a masterpiece of utter complexity & a very unique style. Vinterland is also great. They may have only released 1 record, but it's still a black metal album I revisit every now & than, even though Im currently very much into score writing & also play mainly instrumental, guitar emphasized music like Buckethead, Satriani, Stevie Ray Vaughn etc. Another few bands you might like & which I haven't seen on your channel before are: Ulver, Austere, Thy Light... Or some Death Metal like Death, Suffocation, Quo Vadis, Morbid Angel, Behemoth, Nile, Cannib Corpse, Slaughter To Prevail... Also crazy pitch, could you perform Jesus is a Friend of Mine by Sonseed in a Black Metal setting? Lol Would maybe get a few laughs. Bless you my friend & keep up the excellent work !
