A woman “of a certain age”….oh never mind…..I’m getting freakin old! Loving life, stymied by the world we’re living, and laughing all the way down the road to the end!
I am endlessly optimistic (when I’m not being pessimistic) and way too excitable by just about everything.

Ideas for a name for your grand-daughter: Sunshine, a flower, e.g. Rose, Buttercup and I've always loved Joy, if that is not already her actual name.

You could call her little honey or little darling or Lilibet (Queens nick name). Well done you being so adventurous with your painting.
Nick names for your granddaughter....when I think of her, I think of her as a "little Margaret"....having you in her life, she will surely take on some of your mannerisms, etc. Many of my paternal and maternal grandmother's habits and hobbies are things I enjoy to this day - like catalog shopping, sewing, crocheting, etc. When you mention 'the littleone', I think of nick names for Margaret - like Maggie, Meg...others have come up with cute names as well. I also like the name Bella which means beautiful, I think. Could call her little Bell... anyway....pick something you feel comfortable with and get your son and daughter in laws approval.

Margaret, sweetie you are wired from being so overwhelmed. Getting up at 4:30 , doing what I would do all day because we love our grands but before tomorrow gets here you are worried about painting and you can google how to feed a baby from table food. You need to come home and rest a few afternoons. If you don’t rest a little you may start walking backwards and driving in reverse. You can get more done in a day than I could in a week.
Margaret I was in the same situation of having the joy of taking care of my little ones. Two of them from birth for a few years. Anyway I too freaked out when one of them appeared to be choking. Turns out she wasn't but yes my heart stopped. Anyway I signed up for classes with the Red Cross for safety. I learned child CPR n many many things. The class was only $100. My son was grateful but teased me because I had raised 3 kidos n never went to a safety class. Well I didn't want anything to happen on my watch n of course as we get older we are aware of all the dangerous things that possibly can happen. So just something to consider. You enjoy that little love 💖

I'm so glad you are having tea with your sisters today. That will be fun and you guys can "walk down" memory lane.😊. I have a cowlick in the back of my hair and what I fight it with is Kenra Root Lift. It helps me just fill in that spot and make the hair behave. I like the way you razored those pesky sides off. You have more energy than I do but it's fun to watch you take on so many tasks!

You are a professional painter because only a pro could do that amount of painting and not have even one drop of paint on their clothes! Hands don’t count. 😉 I used to call my grands apple dumpling, sweetie pie, my sweet girl (4 girls!). Basically whatever sweet related term popped from brain to mouth in the moment. Think of something special to do for yourself every day next week. New type of tea, ice cream bar, epsom salt soak for your feet, take a bubble bath…. Best I could come up with since I never do anything like that but if I did I would thoroughly enjoy it! 😊

Name ideas for the little one...What name would you have named a daughter if you had a girl? That should be her stage name ☺️😉
About allergies...could the dr's office do an allergy panel? It's a safe way to find out her food allergies without hurting her any in the process. Just a side thought.

Hoping you all will have a good week and that your sleep will be truly restful. When I was in school, granted I'm totally a night owl, I used to wish for the ability to stop & start time. I'd stop time a bit before I was to get up then sleep as long as I needed, get ready and start time again. That was my hopeful, happy place growing up. lol

I think you need to do the liquid nails and then add some little finishing nails.
Margaret, when some of my friends’ children were little they all loved avocados. Also, I painted my all stained woodwork before we sold our house. Despite some sanding and stuff I still had bleed through after multiple coats. A professional painter told my husband to use oil paint. It actually did the trick. I confess I refused to deal with soaking paint brushes in turpentine so every day I just threw out the brush I used!
That is exactly what I would do! This is a specialty paint that is supposed to mimic an oil. Seems to be working. 🤞
Going from wood finished woodwork to white sure does change the appearance of a room! I'm anxious to see how the door trim works out. I've never tried that before. Margaret, you make me look like a sloth. Gosh, you're a hard worker. Take care.
I hope it looks good. I may just paint a closet door without that trim work and see how that looks too.

There you are Margaret! Have been missing you. I know you’re a busy,busy lady. I wish I had half your energy. I would if I was I. A house with lots of projects to do, but being in an apt. No projects other than clean, clean, clean and re arrange furniture. lol. Can’t wait to see the finished project of your paint job. That color of green is pretty, haven’t seen green since the 70’s. 🫣🤷🏼♀️🥰👀. But really pretty. That’s weird that there is no outlets in the bathroom?
You could give little princess mixed veggies, but probably mash the. Up a little bit. ? Macaroni and cheese? But that’s such a high fat meal for a little one. Steamed veggies and Vienna weirners. It’s been so so long since I’ve been around a baby, let alone my daughter and babysitting great niece and nephew. Yrs ago. It would all depend on what the momma wanted me to feed them? You will figure it out Margaret. So glad you got some sister time. I miss my sister so much. We would spend a week with each other
And have so much fun. Enjoy all the time you have with them.

Great job in painting and love the white! Nice and clean look. I am going to try that salt in my coffee, that's the only reason I don't like black coffee because of the bitterness.

When I started looking after my first grandson I did a refresher First Aide Course. I had already had qualifications as a First Aide Officer but a refresher course is always a good thing. The first grandson OK the second one was allergic to just about everything. AHHHH! But we all survived and so did he. He is 16 yrs old now. The hardest thing for me was not to panic.
Boy, do I get it. I think I will look into some classes.

I am ambidextrous with just about everything. When I cut men’s hair with clippers I always changed hands on each side of the head without thinking, freaked a few guests out!

Margaret , can you tell me what you did by you applying a white cream on under eyes and then wiping it away? I love how you make doing your hair look so easy, my arms are very achy and I keep my hair long so I wear it up with no fuss. You are my hero!!
ponds cold cream to make sure there is no residue makeup. Of course it looks easier when I do it, 37 years of “practicing” on other people!
