Been here many times. My first trip to the waterfront location was in 1962 when it was just a shack run by Ivar himself. I remember The World's Fair and Seafair, hydroplane races. It was a very memorable childhood. Lived in White Center, vacationed at Seikiu, clamming on the the western coast.
I love Ivar's, can't wait to get to try it again, I've never been to the waterfront location, but I've eaten at the one in SeaTac before it closed, and other locations in Burien.
Thanks. Ivar's is almost everywhere in Washington. The one at the Seattle Waterfront is best on a sunny Weekend. We can dine there and watch different boats and ferries on Elliott Bay and the people walking along the Waterfront. Ride the Seattle Light Rail from SeaTac or Northgate and get off at Westlake Center, and walk to the Pike Market and down the stairs or the elevator to the Seattle Waterfront. If we have more time, walk over to the Seattle Ferry and ride a roundtrip ferry for about 2 hours to Bainbridge Island and back. It may be the best day there🏖🏝

Thanks. Seattle is now a Metropolitan with so many changes. Welcome to the new world 🌎 🏝
