I don't usually watch movies, but happened to watch #GarudaGamanaVrushabhaVahana on someone's insistence. It's the worst anti-hindu Kannada movie I ever watched. I managed to watch half of the movie & these are the takeaway messages from the movie:
Shiva is a brutal murderer.
Hari is a gangster.
Brahma is a coward.
Mangaladevi is a dangerous place & a den of criminals.
Huli vesha is a dance of criminal gangs to display their strength/hold in their locality.
Shiva bhajans played during murders.
Criminals like Hari go to Kadri temple to wash away the sin after committing each murder.
Mangalore is a city that has one of the least crime rates in India, but this movie depicts totally opposite picture.
Why did i not see any protests from the hindutva activists against this movie? Why are kannadigas acting blind for this hindu hate? How can proud Mangaloreans even digest this?

The Hindu scriptures call Lord Vishnu(Hari) as Garuda gamana, meaning the one who has a sharp intellect and immense foresight [and who also has eagle as his vehicle which again is known to have a sharp sight. While the mighty Lord Shiva is known as Vrishabha vāhana, the one who has Bull as his vehicle. Two characters from the film are named after the two Gods. One has a sharp intellect (played by Raj Shetty) and the other is physically stronger (Rishabh). Probably Raj Shetty is the mind(Garuda gamana) while Rishabh Shetty is the physical strength(Vrishabha vāhana). When the physically weaker Raj Shetty leads the healthy looking but meek Rishabh, is when the film takes a turn (this might be the interval scene). This story might show how the underdogs triumphed over the ruling gangsters. When the sharpest (mind) and the strongest (body) come together nothing/nobody can stop them. Just a guesswork.
ರಾಜ್ is the shiva. ರಿಷಬ್ is the hari.
May be it's not physically strongest.

Yea all these while kfi just mocked mangalore/Udupi accent (it’s always aduge Batra accent) .. they had no clue what those region had in its larger plate to offer (be it the rich culture, language, people, food etc).. just stereotyped versions were shown to the audiences. Thanks to these native people for bringing the change and showing the real nativity in its true sense.. also would like to point we never liked those noisy heavy build dialogue ⭐️ movies.. I remember we used to watch more of Ananth nag, Shankar nag movies..
