Hope you guys liked the video, please keep in mind LED conversion kits are not Legal on Public Roads, as you will need a full conversion KIT costing about 1.000k each....
I was thinking about it,at the same time I can say the light is clear, a little better than the factory fitted light bulbs, however, not really clear in the legislation if can drive legally or not ....
Hello mate, I am afraid to say it does not, you can not fit the cap with any LED as the radiator in the back is too big. It does look cool and you can see a lot better, I tested it out and might pass MOT, it helps a lot when driving and for sure is not blinding any other drivers, however by law it is not legally. We are preparing a video on: the reasons why you should and shouldn't install and drive on public roads as a follow up on this one, as the description of this video vill be updated accordingly with the result of our research. Ps: looks so cool however safety comes first...
@@SEPAChannel Hi thanks for quick reply. I've had the new 308 for the last 2 years and LED factory were absolutely great. My recent swap for the 208 and lights are standard halogen. It's such a disappointment that I am looking for an upgrade to get the visibility better. No legal halogen are good enough so I am looking for an LED replacement, guessing up to 25w for each side should be bright enough without disturbing any other road users. There is an ebay universal cap you can get for the car that should fit 2008 and 208. I think I'll give it a go and see what the general result would be.
@@quartzXXXx2 it's such a shame on the last model of 2008 they don't have LED's fitted. do you know if the new Peugeot 2008 model 2021 has LED's by default from factory?
@@SEPAChannel as far as I know from Allure LEDs comes as standard. Well I am quite happy now with the aftermarket LEDs in my 208 GTi, looks great and gives plenty of visibility 😁 New 308 does look good indeed. But I think my next swap would be for an Alfa Romeo 😁
Nice video. I'm thinking of trying LED conversion kit in my 2008. However there's actually special LED conversion kits developed for halogenheadlights with projecting lenses wich the 2008 is having. Using the wrong type of kit can result in ineffective light image with anoying darker areas in the center of the light. Is there any errors in the canbussystem? Does the kit causing any problems with the stereo? Can you still use the original "springsclamps" holding the lightbulb in place?
you must check if your peugeot 3008 have an H7, other than that I see no other reason (except for potentially not being able to fit in the dedicated space itself? I am afraid is a matter of either asking someone that has tried on a car model same or yours of just try and check if it fits, if not return it. Hope will somehow answer your question. have a nice day.
Hmm I am a tad confused. I bought a set like this to use for my headlights but my car had something like a plastic socket that needed unscrewing and I couldn't find a power cable. So I ended up installing them on my high beam lights which was pretty easy. Do the headlights also have a power cable and I just didn't notice?
I have replaced the headlights with the Novsight N37 LED & it turns on normally, but I have faulty headlights on my multi information display (MID), are you experiencing the same thing as me?
1 chamber mate indeed. Just a bit bad space vise and with this lightbulbs you can't put the caps anymore so it's a matter of wanting to do it that way or not.
Bonjour , j'ai les mêmes ampoules que vous mais le bou de l'ampoule touche la lentille du phare, mon peugeot 2008 est de 2014 je n'ai pas peu les monter !
I've tested them and not blinding anyone. Unfortunatelly not being crearly stipulated in legislation if legal or not ... can't really recommend you 100%
Hello, it seems when I copied the link of the product it took H1 size, however is the correct product. It has been ammended, also in the video title is H7 as per size. Thank you for noticing.
@@SEPAChannel friend, if you want high brightness lens, just use for example model F3 or better as X10 or K11...the bigger chip is better for projector lens
I agree. I got this kit, and really struggle to see in the dark. I am thinking about the 15000 or 20000 lumens kit. I have a 3008 Hybrid 4 which uses H11 bulbs and tilts (or perhaps a reflector) them for high beam.
Tomáš Smekal I just ordered the 15000 lumen kit from the same manufacturer. They also offer a 20000 variant, but I thought that might cause an obvious mot failure. I’ll let you know how the 15000 turns out.

Did u remove the clip before installing led bulb?
Hi there. Yes, but there was an issue putting it back, the LED radiator is too big.
Yep, radiator is huge ... not much space to wirk with on this peugeot 2008
