I was sad Jesse left KSE he's one of my favourite vocalists of all time so when I heard TOG was coming out I grabbed it the first day it released and was not disappointed! I think it was initially slept on but has slowly found its praise over time ironically times of grace

Robb, that format is really fuckin' great! I highly enjoyed this. Two of my favourite frontmen...
    Jesse always seems so genuine.
Keep up the good work and all the best to the both of you. Stay healthy!

Excellent episode! Hymn of a Broken Man is 100% in my top 10 albums of all-time as well! It is incredible! Glad to be a part of that small section of people who saw ToG on tour! Hope to do it again on album #2!

That times of grace album is good. Sooooooo fucking good my god. It doesn't get near enough as much praise as it should. Jesse's voice has this insane passion thing flowing through it constantly, especially on alive or just breathing and the hymn of a broken man. So good to hear you mention it Robb, you have excellent taste ha!

How awesome would a Rob Flynn / Rob Arnold collab be, hell even the idea of a podcast talk between them two would be amazing.

When Adam D was laid up Patrick Lachman stepped in and played guitar for the shows with KSE. Been a fan of KSE since alive or just breathing, Jesse is a good dude. Thank you Robb great interview.

Excellent podcast. Great interview. Love the stories about being on the road, hearing all the experiences. I always think about the fact rockstars dont know their fans personally, but we meet them and talk to them like theyve know us for years haha.

I got that Times of Grace album while I was working as a contractor in Afghanistan in support of the United States military when it came out in 2011. As a guitar player it blew my mind. At the time I actually was not a fan of kill switch engage.. I honestly just had never taken the time to listen to them. Of course I was a huge Machine Head fan and loved all of their albums. And I also was a huge fan of As I Lay Dying. But I'm with Robb here, this fucking Times of Grace album is definitely on my top 10 list.

Was there no influence of Fear Factory on KSE?
Cause they were the O.G.s of brutal/melodic singing.

I assume the sparks for the early 00's nwoahm wave were brought mostly by the leading RR bands; Sepultura, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Soulfly, Slipknot...
