Hey @jL-7992, While they have pushed it forward so too have SunPower and Panasonic help to pioneer N-type solar cells with their IBC and HIT technologies. Fraunhofer ISE, LONGi Solar, and REC Group have also helped move the N-type tech forward. This is a collaborative effort and no one company can take that title. But love the feedback and let me know if we've missed something here!
Aiko Solar panels, like many high-quality Chinese brands, are generally priced competitively but tend to be slightly higher due to their focus on advanced technology, like N-type cells. Compared to other Chinese brands like LONGi or Jinko, Aiko’s prices can be in a similar range but may vary based on panel efficiency and features. Aiko’s panels typically offer strong efficiency and long-term warranties, aligning with other leading brands, making them a good value, especially for projects requiring high-efficiency modules. You could negate some of the cost by finding a competitive installation price. You can compare your local installers at www.solarchoice.net.au
how did you not comment that they are the developers of the N-Type technology?
