I've been rinseless washing for years now and seeing all the new rinseless products across all brands in 2024 is exciting.
Awesome video! Really hard to find people actually using ONR on their vehicle. RUclips is full of promotional videos from the rag company etc lol. Haven’t touched my ONR in 10 years, might need to give it a whirl again
Great video! I'm a big fan of ONR Wash and Wax (Green ONR). It leaves a great shine and a little bit more protection. The water beads for a few weeks. I also use blue ONR if I'm using a dedicated wax after, but for a quick one step, green ONR is fantastic.
I loved ONR for years. Wanted v5 to be the game changer. But going back and forth to DIY I finally made the switch. It’s still a good product and does what it says, but still just behind in a lot of ways. Great video!
Just curious, In what ways do you think ONR is left behind?
@@DetailProjects Slickness, cleaning ability on oil/traffic film, and less spotting when the product dries.
I bought one gallon of ONR maybe 5 years ago, I am still using it. Chemical doesn’t usually last that long, but it still smells good so why not. Two years ago, I tried a new product, Absolute, it works, but after two years, the chemical’s color and smell changed, I decided to stop using and go back to ONR.
ONR is my fave. Bought a gallon in August 2022 for all the car lot cars. I'm still on that gallon .
ONR’s color will eventually change and it’ll look like murky water, the smell will also change slightly. But the product will still work as intended with no worries! Absolute is a big chunky mess!
Happy to see the jersey bug scrubber getting some love 🔥
A MUST have!
i love ONR man.. it was my first rinseless wash and now I got Absolute and Feynlab V3 Rinseless (i don't recommend due to the suds).. and tbh, ONR is just something I trust over and over again. I also love versatile it is. I clean the interior with it, the glass, and just about everything. Even use it in the house!
Try feynlab 1 oz to 3 gallons for less Suds
I think this type of wash is done best with a stack of clean towels soaked in the solution. Use a fresh towel for each section and only wipe in one direction.
Only been doing rinseless washes for about a year now here in the UK 🇬🇧 only tried p&s absolute and diydetail rinseless both good but thought id give the original rinseless ONR a try got a bottle arriving this week hopefully
What did you think about it in comparison to DIY Rinseless? It seems like most people like DIY better.
@themikeroberts me personally i didn't like it ,didn't feel slick at all which is what i like, ended up selling it on Ebay
I've been using onr for years literally no scratching. I think it really does coincide with onr's dirt trapping ability
Check out gallon pricing. It makes the other brands more competitive. I thought $50 was a lot for 128 oz but maybe it's not so bad.
I agree but they should still stay competitive on all sizes. Their formulas are not that special to be charging double the price IMO.
Hi, thanks for the video. How does this sponge compare to the DIY Legacy as I also have a Toyota RAV4 Prime. TIA
The black sponge is the exact same material with the black side of the legacy sponge.
Personally I like the black sponge better. The legacy sponge has an adhesive line where it connects with the red sponge and It feels a bit abrasive
@@DetailProjects thank you 🙏🏻. Would you still choose ONR V5 over Armour Hero and DIY Rinseless?
💯. Hero is way too expensive for what it is. DIY detail is a really good Rinseless but if I can only pick one it’s ONR
You would be the only one that would take onr. it wouldn’t be in my top 5. But each to their own.
@@clints8888 yeah, I’ve been reading a lot of negative feedback on different forums and YT videos regarding ONR. I will go with DIY for now until Hero comes back in stock.
Can that jersey bug scrubber scratch paint or surfaces that doesn’t have ppf?
Not if your using lubrication and not adding pressure to the scrubber
How do i know if i have the latest revision? On my bottle it just has the "new formula" sticker
The sticker will say “revision 5” . The older version says “new version “
⬅️ Good video. New subscriber here. You had my sub when I saw your 🌮. 👍🏻
🌮 Many Thanks!
Ive used ONR on my car for almost 2 years not one scratch from rinseless wash. Stop complicating the use of rinseless
ONR is life! Great product.
more videos off ONR 🙏🙂
ONR is best rinse wash
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I watched with interest. But I'll never use this method of washing a car. Ok, so it's slick, but one tiny piece of grit can cause substantial damage. Each to their own but snow foaming is the real King. Interesting video nonetheless.
Rinseless washes are definitely not for everyone however ONR made me a believer over the years!
That can happen with whatever method you use no ?
Very difficult to imagine how it could happen with a snow foam, two buckets blah blah method. Sure, you could pick up a piece of grit from say, under the lip of a wheel arch, but it's a way safer method.
Everyone is entitled to his opinion, for me never was nor I hardly think it’ll ever be a king 😆 so many sooo much better rinselesses on the market
What would you recommend? Thx

This method is not a good idea for black paint, red or blue. Your paint will be scratched and you will regret it.
Incorrect
Not accurate at all.
I'm with you there bud
Not true at all pal
I have a black car. If anything much better than using soap. Right Technique and Skill no issues
