Thank you for featuring DIY Detail Rinseless Wash. For our Rinseless wash, keep all dilutions at 256/1 ( 4ml to a litre). Only as a detail spray, or prep wipe do you want a more concentrated solution with DIY Detail Rinseless Wash. When foaming in a foam cannon or pump sprayer adjust to get the level of foam you desire.
You can use more for other applications, but it’s a waste of product, and can cause streaking.

I use absolute cause they are local to me in the Bay Area. I pair it with Rag company Wolf pack microfiber towels @480 gsm I find it’s the best for rinseless wash. I only need one gallon diluted 256:1 and I also use the same dilution in a Marolex 2000 pump sprayer for pre treatment. Each of the 9 Wolf pack towel I fold to use 8 sides so I get 72 passes just once can clean my entire 2 door Cayman. I use separate microfiber towels for wheels only. For door jams I use another sprayer diluted 64:1. Takes less then an hour from start to finish only using one gallon of water approximately.

Another use for ONR is as an additive in the windshield washer reservoir. I added 2 ounces to 3 liters, which is about 1:50. I did this both in summer in pure water and in winter as a supplement to an alcohol winter desiccant. My glass has never been as clean as possible, especially in winter.

@@PanTheOrganizer In winter, I used Liqui Moly -80C windshield washer concentrate. I diluted it according to the instructions for a temperature of about -20. And then I added 2 ounces of ONR to 3 liters of this composition. The temperature in winter was not lower than -15, so everything was OK. I'm not sure yet if higher concentrations of alcohol will affect the properties of the ONR. I want to experiment by adding isopropyl or methyl alcohol to the ONR in high concentrations.

How I love using rinse-less wash is post wash in the door jams or anywhere a part of the car would be closed normally during the wash (doors, trunks/rear hatch/rear window panels, fuel door, hood). I open everything up and use this clean all those areas up so the full car is clean! I just spray and use one towel to wipe away the solution and dirt and another towel to dry the area to touch.

Pan thank you for taking the time to put this video together. All of these products are great but the product which I buy is DIY! The first time using DIY I washed the vehicle first and then the wheels and tires. The water was dark after the wheels so it was time to have fun. I placed a microfiber towel in the bucket and rang it out then cleaned the windows. The windows turned out crystal clear after drying the windows with another microfiber towel even though the water in the bucket was dark. This was the moment where I knew the DIY rinseless was special.
For my quartz countertops in the kitchen 256:1 cleans up spills and keeps the stainless steel smudge and fingerprint free. When using the foam cannon I add between 2 to 3 ounces depending on what the vehicle is telling me. When polishing if the polish/compound is oily I grab paint prep but for a compound like the gold standard 256:1 works great and gives me peace of mind about marring.
Thank you for another great video!

We don't have a garage so I'm the kind to do it outside. I started using ONR as a claylube in 1:64 as recommended on the bottle, with deionized water many years ago. I've probably tried them all and I could say with the help of the CarPro dilute spray bottles, this is the absolute best results I got with a claylube ever, although I personally prefer something more along the lines of a 1:32 dilution ratio. Bonus points, it smells amazing (not as much as the strawberry candy-ish of the McKee's though, but super amazing nonetheless, like blueberry bubble gum or something) it's also the less expensive recipe by far, with no water spotting whatsoever even while completely drying under the sun for an hour while waiting for me to finish the clay stage, this stuff is just amazingly forgiving for this task.

I followed the tip for home cleaners in the video you made about 6-8 months ago. There were various different recipes with vinegar, isopropyl alcohol, etc.
Do you find that THOSE cleaners work better around the house or the ONR recipes you included in this video?
The ones from the older video worked well for us, especially the stainless steel cleaner because it was such a simple recipe. The granite cleaner works well too. But if you find ONR works even better for daily use around the house, I may give it a try as well. I always had some reservations for using ONR and you went over them briefly in your video when you mentioned avoiding use around food-prep areas.

I've tried a few glass cleaners and a few different methods to get streak free glass. I tried ONR at 24:1, similar recommendation to this video at 13:00 , but found it streaky. I've since used it at 49:1 and found it a great glass cleaner for inside and out. I found using quite a bit on the glass and spreading it with one waffle cloth then drying with another dry waffle cloth to work great, without streaks. Also very cheap too!

I am a big rinseless guy and i actually use a couple of these products regularly. For some reason I very much prefer ONR when diluting it heavier than usual. 2-3 ounces per gallon of ONR is extremely versatile so i tend to use ONR as my mixing rinseless. When it comes to strictly washing i think DIY Detail is really hard to beat. Yes, Absolute is awesome and its basically half the price per ounce. Usually that would matter to me but rinseless is SO cheap per use its really not on my radar. A gallon of DIY Detail lasts me 4-5 months of washing 3 cars once a week. It's insanely economical either way.
One thing is with ONR please use distilled water. The mix sits better on the shelf and it is best practice to avoid water spots.

To a state that would make many who view Pan's channel cringe. LOL. I spray the painted surfaces with the rinseless wash and let it dwell for a bit to loosen and encapsulate some of the caked on mud and dirt before the initial spray-off. That I do with a garden hose, before I even fire up the power washer, to avoid grinding the dirt into the surface with the high pressure. I'd certainly use the other two products as well, so far I've just used what I already have. Bought a 128oz of the Absolute, so I'm good for a while.
