First stop we caught up with Rudy once again. This time Rudy shares his passion on how he got into cars and how the EG became the car of his dream. Thank you Rudy for making time for us one more time. Here are the links to his previous interviews

Thank you all for the support for #automotiveanatomy
I cannot thank all of you. It means very much!
“I was really into cars and really excited when the gsxr came out but we didn’t have the money for all that… I WAS JUST GRATEFUL to have a car” (1986 dodge Colt). That’s just a beautiful thing to say coming from a young man. So good.
Thank you again to my doggie Gus for putting together this amazing project! 🥳🥳🥳🎥🎥🎥🙌🙌🙌Thank you again for including me! It was an honor to be part of it and much props to my doggies Rudy and Jerry for doing an awesome job as well! 😃💚💚💚🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙
Our pleasure! thank you for making time for us MIKE. I really appreciate it so much.
Automotive Anatomy Anytime Doggie! 😃💚💚💚🙌🙌🙌
Jerry’s backyard is parts heaven. These are some cool, humble dudes with bad ass whips.
I was in shock lol so crazy to see all of this man. Thanks for tuning in man
Man this is such a good documentary and I can’t believe you got jerrybuilt on this, that alone just made you a legend
haha MikeG was the one who put in the good word for me. Yes, jerrybuilt is an awesome guy!
@Petrol head Have to watch this one at least once a year!
@@Teknakill haha foreal man! No lie

😮😅😅😮
Holy shit man, you really are putting your heart and soul into the car community. You are a inspiration for others
thanks man. It is a lot of work but it has paid off man
I’ve had all kinds of fun fast cars. Everything from h/c/I camaros, s8’s, c5’s, and swapped EG’s and the eg is still one of my top two favorites! It’s just plain out fun: and when people who have never been in a car like this feel it or drive it, their reaction is priceless!
EGs are one of my favorite Honda chassis’s, these are some hardcore Honda guys there and I respect how much love they have for their Hondas. Btw this is a nice edit, thank you for putting this movie together Gus! I love this long form videos a lot. I miss the drive and talk videos too.
Thank you JUN. I would love to have you on the livestream. Even if it is just audio man. People need to know the great job you are doing.
what about EKs?
Life is like a car, you have one of them, make the best of it! ...oooohhh, and enjoy life. Happy drivin, happy survivin!
Jerry built vs compton rob was the race that got me into hondas as a kid
Crazy how those guys are still around building Honda motors and tuning them
@@petrolhead8851 yes it is man
I have seen a few videos. Crazy times man
@@AutomotiveAnatomy crazy and good times
Great documentary gus!!! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of it. The video came out amazing 🙌🏼
Glad you enjoyed it! I really thank you for the time and how passionate you are with the chassis. And most importantly, how supportive you have been with me and the channel.
Mike has been around for a long time. One of my favorite builds. Jerrybuilt always brings heat @ the street
Yes indeed. thank you so much for the support
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! 😃🙏🙏🙏🤙🤙🤙
Super street magazine had performance parts shops advertising everything they had back then late 90s. All you heard was tuned cars all day and night ripping around my neighbourhood. I bought a 89 prelude si when I was 18. I bought a muffler for it before I even purchased the car. It wasn’t super fast but it was fun. Good times.
Great video.. great talk about life with Honda.. I feel how you guys feel man.. have my EG hatch with JDM B18c5.. for 12 years now.. still kicking them V-TEC after 12 year owner.. PRIDE AND JOY " HONDAS BABY...👊👊👊👊
Right on! Hondas for life man
Love this vid man 🙌🏻 seeing a garage with only Hondas is like a dream ...
Couldn't agree more!
Yup...I had a 1985 Mitubishi Starion turbo in the 90s. No one made tuner parts for it as far as I knew (no internet back then lol) so I cut the springs and loved it!!! It didn't handle better but dayum it looked good for a noob long before fast and furious was a thing.
OG stuff man. I am glad you were creative back then
Starion/conquest are bad ass super rare now
Not even Eibach? They made lowering springs for nearly anything :-)
Station had a truck engine and 4wd, right? Unicorn car.
Old hondas never die.
HANDS DOWN!! the BEST video to come from Auto Anatomy!!! Grew up looking up to Jerry Built and The TANK- Mike G. , back in the Day in the tuner mags!!! This HONDA O.G. Through and through!!!!👍🏻🔥💯
Glad you enjoyed it! the support means so much
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! 😃🙏🙏🙏🤙🤙🤙
@@mikeghadimi1384 , you one of the OG LEGENDS, Leading the way for the rest of us Golden Era Honda O.G.’s!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Not One Much Love! 😃💚💚💚🙌🙌🙌
The EG Hatch is my #1 pic for 90's Honda icon.
I've been into cars into my whole life, in the 90's I was all about domestic muscle cars. Then I got my 1st Honda, a 93 Vx hatchback with the 1.5 VTEC-E and I never looked back. I've owned DA's, EF hatches and I've had a b17 swapped CRX for 10 years. Still love the EG hatch and want to find another one. Keep em on the road!!!
It's funny, I watched your videos during COVID lockdown a lot. It gave me something to really aspire towards once lockdown was over. I'd sit there with my newborn and watch a ton of your videos and others.
I come back to those same videos because my newborn is now a preschooler and I sorta just miss lockdown when the world was quiet af. Keep up the good work man!
Awesome brotha!! I am glad your little kiddo is growing and thank you for the support.
We used to have that 92 Honda Hatchback EG back in the 1998 bought it P220k . And after 4 years was Bargain Sold for only P120k. Now in the Philippines the price doesnt drop . I miss to have again the Hatchback EG.
Dam Jerry built is legend ... maybe g.o.a.t. of street hondas hands down!
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it
Hey bro you should send me a t shirt for getting likes on my comment.. lol. But fr that be hella dope g
What a well put documEGntary. My eg is nowhere near to this. Still stock. I've been anticipating for this upload. Never disappoint. Glad everyone took their time to put all this together. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! I really appreciate it man. Your EG is looking great as is man
EG’s timeless design reminiscent of the 911 is what drew me to love it. Bought my si new in 93 from Pflueger Honda the first Honda dealer in the Nation, that day drove it across the street for full GAB coil over suspension, front & rear upper strut bars, wheels, exhaust & intake. Swapped a B18gsr in 95 from the IAA, it now has a K20a from HMO. I love my EG! I too will be buried in it when I die...
I've owned a couple of these cars when I was younger... BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS little cars... I had a nice split lip and a duck bill wing to it... sweet!!👍
only other car of that era is the bmw e46.. sweet rides when u do them up...
I miss my 1995 civic hatchback
Just love this. great job on all these guys in one. have one and enjoy it a lot 🤙
Glad you enjoyed it
Just got into an accident last night in my hatch watching this doc gives me motivation to not give up on my bucket and keep attempting to build the vision of the car I picture in my mind 🤙🏼
Ps*Anyone in the comments got some insight on a good collision repair shop LA area for my civic?Much appreciated💯
I am glad you are okay man. I hope you were not hurt. I had a great experience with my buddy Josh when he repaired my front lip. His Instagram is @xb_josh
@@AutomotiveAnatomy thanks man I'm all good it was nothing serious,Ill check him out thnx for the reply!Keep up the fkn sweet content man dope to hear how these guys came about and hear how they gravitated towards the Honda community hopefully I'll get to meet you in person at a meet sometime🤙🏼

Glad to hear it! Thank you for being super supportive
Automotive Anatomy always brother
Me too
Nice, great doc. A used to have an eg hatch but my co-workers said that thing was trash so I got rid of it, not knowing what I had in hand I regret it today. I just wish I could be rich and buy all the cars I ever wanted....mainly Honda fleet of cars more than anything and Ford
we all wish we could buy all the hondas we wanted lol
my favorite type of documentary
Killing The Game Your Getting More & More Amazing At Videos, Proud of You !

Dang that industrial intro tho lol..hit that like, now let's enjoy the show. Finally have time to enjoy this, peacefully
I hope you liked it Ramon
@@AutomotiveAnatomy LOVED IT!! funny I went back memory lane as he talked about gutting his cat. I did the same like in 96 and also walked around campus like a big dog with my pull out radio 😂 oh and I also cut my springs 😅 heating or cutting was the thing ..man has the game evolved.
Very sick!
Thanks for the video man. Very well done. So much inspiration.
Glad you enjoyed it! What are the plans for your project!
Such an awesome documentary.
Glad you enjoyed it Thank you for your time.
Hondas never die.
NEVER man!
25.45 yes man that is those old days... mine was soo similar dude.
Btw great documentary
thanks for tuning in Rodrigo. i appreciate the support man.
Sick doco
I wish my eg will look like this soon ... Nice build guys. Nice documentary...
It takes time man. Keep at it and it will happen.
My name is Bobby bingo. I had a crx too I loved it but I got t-bone and it got killed!! But I owned 9hondas crx included ,95eg coupe97ek-vtechd16y8, integra,gsr-b18block, and a del sol, kinda fun if u spend a lot of time, but I never had a eg hatch. I owned 3 ek hatch backs currently have 1996honda accord2dr-vtech ,5spd and 97ek hatch and I may never get rid of my ek hatch my favorite chassis too bro much love for eg and ek and they handle pavement so great!!!
Sorry to hear about your CRX man. But I am glad that you have chosen to continue modding Hondas man. Awesome platforms to say the least.
I only ever had one other import and it was the 1991 Nissan 240 sx slope hatch and I also fell in love with that car and would of probably kept it it my finance were better at the time. But my heart is always Honda over anything else. You guys keep safe and if ever u have extra parts or coil overs tower struts or rims or engine parts to get off of I’ll set a pay pal account or send location man. It’s hit and miss over here in nc, tryna get quality parts only Maryland and Virginia Beach. Of course on line but it’s today it’s tough sometimes😎👻
Hondas never die its here to stay
I’m from NC-obx and we have just as much love over here bro as Cali y’all keep the eg. Ek game alive it’s timeless 😜😎 I’m a ek hatch owner right now I owned 3 love that shit never a eg hatch only a coupe95 but I want one I probably never sell it if I got one-!!
Thank you for your input Robert. I appreciate your feedback and support man!
Always!! I know I’m in my mid 30s and I can’t deny that I still fill like a dam kid every day after work I can’t wait to hop in my hatch. U got my full support and will spread the video to the rest of my buddy’s if they have not already seen it!! Bingobobbleton- Instagram- to follow me
Thanks for this brother. I enjoyed it. Always been a 6th Gen guy but I sometimes feel like I’d be better off in an EG. (No emissions) keep up the hood work. I really do enjoy your channel.
Right on
Dam I miss my red 95' hatchback!!!!!!! first car i ever owned!!
buy another one.
Nice video man subscribed and love the behind the scenes part
thank you so much man
I had a 88 civic dx back in ‘98 that I heated the springs on to drop. Had it on some 15’s off of a geo storm gsi that I had traded in.... that was my third Honda. My first Honda was an accord then I got a prelude before trading it in for the civic... I’ve been ricing them out for decades.. lol
hell yea Carlos. keep doing it man. As long as you have fun
Dam when he talked about cutting springs it brought be me back to my 94 EG....cut my springs and that’s when I got into the import scene....now I’m working on my 2000 Integra
You guys had to get creative with the lack of aftermarket support.
Dope video bro. Love it, love my ej1
Appreciate it!! I am glad you enjoyed it man
Should do a full interview with just Jerry built.. n how he came about
hah it would be hard man. He is a busy guy

What size tire and rim size please and thanks
I'm trying to trade a 98 black ek coupe for a eg hatch, but i'm trying to find a deal where I'm not completely at a loss. My coupe is in good condition minus the headliner.
I wish one of these guys let Matt Farah drive their car on a one take. Would love to see a review.
Eclipses were trash, but the CRX was definitely a keeper.
Eclipse can be nice man.
@@AutomotiveAnatomy You have a point. The late 80s first gens were, but the models after that were totally unreliable. I sold Mitsubishi’s and they would regularly come into the shop after a week of being purchased. The GS models has junk Dodge Neon engines in them. Their Mirages, during the mid 90s were totally reliable, light, and made in Japan.
