Suga knows English. He said himself that he knows to read and write in English. BTS songs that he wrote which have englsih parts in them are written by him. He said he just isn't confident in talking and that's all.

I found it interesting when you mentioned the reverse sounds at the start, because with this era they seem to be "going back" to their past eras/music (this song actually being sampled from their 2014 album's 1st song, Intro: O?RUL8,2? ). Really cool honestly
Same too I’m still confuse while bopping my head about the last beats of the last part. It’s very dark and chaotic that I don’t know what instrument or equipment they used to make that. It’s 🔥
This song sampled “Intro: O!RUL8,2?” which is the intro song from BTS’ 1st Mini Album released in 2013, which is why perhaps it sounds vintage and reverb-y, because the lyrics of this song is a direct response to that song. The theme of this album and Persona are going back to their roots. They’ve been referencing their old stuff recently.

I was at work when it drop and I am very lucky my co workers understand my love for BTS and so they watch me freak out at work. They didn't make fun of me, they didn't say your stupid for getting all worked up for them. When it was time they all just watch me lose my shit. I'm lucky my bosses are cool.
Joey! I absolutely love your reactions! I always put my good headphones on to watch you! Lol I loved how you've mentioned about his "I wanna be......" vocals getting clearer and stronger the second time, cause it matches the song and MV concept so well: like you pointed out, the shadows already crossed the door, they're already out, chasing him. Also, I don't know if you've noticed, but the moment the beat changes and gets darker, that's when his Shadow takes over and starts rapping, telling him "I am you and you are me" "We will clash" "You can't take me off of you". Sorry for the long comment and thanks for the reaction! 💜☂️
"I've never heard anything like that before" lol you described my feelings when a watched this interlude for the first time. I totally agree, his voice is unique. I really apreciate this type of react, bringing techniques interpretations 💜
When the beat changed and you said it sounds like chaos, it is meant to be chaos because that’s his ego/shadow speaking to him. I like to think that the beat represents his mental state breaking down when he realized how depressing it is getting everything he wanted but losing his joy and excitement at the same time. That’s such a clever way to show emotion.
Its like his shadow telling him "I'm everything you didn't want to be." Cause you know ,the shadow is where you hide everything you dont want to be seen to the public eye
Interlude : shadow is so masterpiece This is when an artist dedicated his life for music or etc...its gonna be crazy ITS GONNA BE CRAZY, F**CKING AWESOME
I really like your reaction video. Its make me understand more the production of the bts music and to figure little detail about their music Thank you!
It’s great how you analyzed the chords in the beginning as being reversed, cuz the whole “i wanna be” segment is his past self aspiring to be a superstar with riches and power. When he starts singing, the reverse stops bcuz it’s now the present, in which he says “dont let me shine” cuz although he has everything he desired in the past and more, there’s a shadow that grew w it and it’s overtaking him. Great video💙
Suga deals with anxiety and depression ...with fame comes a down side, overwhelming pressure, the fear of flying high and crashing, the lack of privacy being chased, the want of perfection, the desires first a dream, then reality ... The light and the darkside ... This is what Suga deals with inside himself ...
Actually the last part that is very different, is trying to show how their feel when they are surrounded by people who are taking photos....ect, by all those saturated sounds they want to creat an uncomfortable feeling in the listener, the same that they got in those situations
"I'm not an album abuser." LOL You're hilarious. Thank you so much for still making reaction videos to BTS although I know some of your stuff was taken down before.
Am I the only one who found a connection by the end of the song the best just changed dramatically and this dude said that something was different and that it sounded like chaos. Cause at the end of the video that’s when suga and his shadow becomes one and because of that the video and even the music itself becomes chaotic
When he said there are reverse sounds in the beginning it all came together for me with everything that the lyrics mean about how yoongi wants fame at first but know that he has it he realizes how lonely and sad it can actually be idk just found it cool how the average listener wouldn’t know the technical behind the sounds make me even love this song more now that i realize how much detail yoongi put into this track .
music engineer who worked on interlude : shadow said this was the hardest song he ever mixed because it have many sections, luckily they have genius producer.

I like watching again your music producer reaction to BTS videos from time to time. Through your reactions I can appreciate even more their artistry. It amazes me when I know the background of the song and then you come and tell us that same story just form their production elements. Especially this song is such a masterpiece. More than a song it's a well thought piece of art. I love how the concept of the shadow overpowering oneself can be appreciated not only from the lyrics, but also for the musical and production elements. I really wouldn't be able to know that if it weren't for your reactions, so thanks a lot man, I really appreciate your videos.
I just found your channel and watched a bunch of your BTS videos and WOW. I've listened to these songs hundreds of times, but it seriously feels like I'm hearing them for the first time when you point out all the instruments and effects in the background. It really made me love their music even more now (if that's even possible). You've got a new subscriber! P.S. - BTS has a new song out called Black Swan (you're probably aware). There are 2 versions of the song: the music video version and the version on streaming platforms. If you react to it you should definitely react to both!
Nice reaction and nice explanation! Everything changes in the end since his "shadow" is talking now. I like how disturbing and scary it sounds. And you pointed out that in the beginning we can barely hear his goals, but then after the chorus, we can hear him clearly. I hadn't noticed that! Thanks for the video Joey!
Everytime I watch your reaction, there's always some enlightening for me about the song's meaning. I'm so grateful because it helps me to get a better understanding of the song. Great job! And good luck for your music!
Those chords drive me mad, they're so good and *so Yoongi* I love his sick style and attention to detail when producing music. He really is a genius and we peasants don't deserve him!!!!!!!!!!!
I always learn so much from your reactions! Cool to see you as surprised by the last part as I was and to learn what makes it so different. And, “Mira” sounds great!!
Hey Joey, I just want to say I love watching your videos and learning things from a producer perspective. The way you explain things from songs you breakdown sounds very informative and your humor is really my type of humor. I appreciate all the love for different kinds of music and I hope that your career is full of success.
You explained the music production from ur perspective as a music producer gave us a whole new light on the way we perceive this Interlude. Wow... in the final verse, you said the music sounds chaotic. In that part, 'Shadow' is talking to Min Yoongi and his Persona (Suga) and telling him to just accept and be at ease with it. It describes the chaos in one's self as one's Persona clashes with one's Shadow. Wow.... Suga produced this song with another 2 BH's producers. Looks like he explains what 'Shadow' means according to Jung's analytical psychology not just by using lyrics and visuals, but also using music arrangement/production as well. To me this is pure arts.
The vinyl crack might be because the melody is one of their old ones from an intro O!URL82? They did the same for this that they did for the Intro: Persona. Took one of their old beats to be the base for the new song. Like the mic cracking the glass was part of the old intro too.
Thank you for your reaction. Wow. It only shows that the song itself (even without the lyrics), the beat, the arrangement is already a story (and a journey) in itself. Genius!
I always find myself coming back to this reaction of yours. It amazes me on how you could get the gist of the story behind this song from just the music alone. This is one of the many reasons as to why i’ll always look forward to your bts reactions.
Thank you for this reaction! You gave me new insight into the meaning of this song! It’s amazing how purposefully this song was produced to reinforce the message they were trying to convey. It is incredible how the lyrics, images, production, and delivery of the song work together to send a powerful message! This song is a masterpiece!
Thanks! I always liked how you focus on the music and where the sounds come from, it does help those of us who understand what the song and the MV is about more.
It was fascinating to hear your take on this. You nailed everything from the reverse to the change in Suga's voice clarity and his confidence. You got eveything right and your musical explanation made more sense to what I already knew about the song, The way you explained the screeching noise as chaos was mindblowing! I never noticed the screech. You got everything right but you were confused at the end because you didn't pay attention to the lyrics. The beat change when you said it all went dark and angry is the shadow of Suga speaking to Suga as they are one and he has to accept his shadow. Buy hey, you don't do lyrics yo do music, and you are great at it. This is a true version of muisc producer reacting to another music producer lol

I was at work when it drop and I am very lucky my co workers understand my love for BTS and so they watch me freak out at work. They didn't make fun of me, they didn't say your stupid for getting all worked up for them. When it was time they all just watch me lose my shit. I'm lucky my bosses are cool.
I mean, I don’t use this term much (if at all), but this is so absurd! 👀😅😄
I am a younger army and I just want to say I ADMIRE YOU GUYS. Honestly I kinda wanna be like that, hopefully I get cool co-workers like that.
This song is ALL suga. Their comeback trailers are always solos 🔥👍
When the album slapped his face i was like "Ahaha you should see the size of MOTS:7, it's bigger than A4 paper, it'd HURT" sdhfkslaf :D
*"No one tell me how lonely up there"*
Damn.. That sentence hit me hard...
I think in the second half, when the beat switches and everything goes dark, it is his shadow talking to him.
I get CHILLS every time the beat drops
Joey: “And as usual I watched a BTS video and was left completely confused”
😂😂😂🤣🤣 it’s okay it happens
Joey! I absolutely love your reactions! I always put my good headphones on to watch you! Lol
I loved how you've mentioned about his "I wanna be......" vocals getting clearer and stronger the second time, cause it matches the song and MV concept so well: like you pointed out, the shadows already crossed the door, they're already out, chasing him.
Also, I don't know if you've noticed, but the moment the beat changes and gets darker, that's when his Shadow takes over and starts rapping, telling him "I am you and you are me" "We will clash" "You can't take me off of you".
Sorry for the long comment and thanks for the reaction! 💜☂️
when he said "mira" i thought he was saying "mierda" 😅
Yeah, I did too
Same hahah
Vicky Masi me too🤣
😂😂😂
Same. Lol. He over complicated it. Spanish is a phonetic language.
11:05 "and as usually, I watched a BTS video and was left completely CONFUSED" 😂😂😂😂
Its like his shadow telling him "I'm everything you didn't want to be."
Cause you know ,the shadow is where you hide everything you dont want to be seen to the public eye
Interlude : shadow is so masterpiece
This is when an artist dedicated his life for music or etc...its gonna be crazy
ITS GONNA BE CRAZY, F**CKING AWESOME
The only channel that pauses so many times but doesn’t bother me. It’s necessary pauses . Love it
When it changed to the crazy part he was like: wtf... 😐 HAHAHAHA
And as usual, I watched the BTS video, and was left completely CONFUSED---- felt that
Reverse: BTS' dreams at its beginning
Normal: BTS now
Beat switch: BTS' shadow
Thank you, Joey! I always get more insight from you.
Thank you! It is cool that you and Barcenilla are working together. I watched him from the first time he discovered BTS.
Actually the last part that is very different, is trying to show how their feel when they are surrounded by people who are taking photos....ect, by all those saturated sounds they want to creat an uncomfortable feeling in the listener, the same that they got in those situations
Ohhhh really? If so then that is really smart
I'm glad there are reactors like you who actually know the technical things since you're a producer yourself.
ngl that electric guitar was my fave instrumental in the song like it's just SO GOOD
Thank you so much for breaking down the instrumentals and explaining everything dude. I learn a lot from your commentary. Keep up the good work!
"I'm not an album abuser." LOL You're hilarious. Thank you so much for still making reaction videos to BTS although I know some of your stuff was taken down before.
Bruhhhh Nato...... Am I even breathing... Bro I can't beleive you are reacting to Suga's music, this is a blessing..
Producer: suga could sing you know but he can't sing like Jimin
Me: yes, we know that. Jimin can rap but he can never rap like Suga
True man. Still love them though. Saranghae
8:00 people didn't notice Yoongi in. The crowd coz they are focusing on Suga performing
11:05 THIS MADE ME LAUGH SO HARD LMFAOO
mara * I thought I’m the only one who laughing in this part lol
music engineer who worked on interlude : shadow said this was the hardest song he ever mixed because it have many sections, luckily they have genius producer.
Joey: HA that's kinda funny.
Me: 😊
Joey: We laugh.
Me: 😂😂😂
Seriously had me dying!
Edit: Thank you so much guys! I don't even know this many people 😂😂😂
same omg 😂😂😂
That's so true XD
Same🤣👏🏻
Same.
What had you laughing? This song has nothing funny in it.
This is the first video I've ever seen by you, but I am so impressed. You analyzed the song in such a cool way and made me look at it from different perspectives.
Ma' MAN JOEY!!!
🔥👑💪🏻🙏🏻✌🏻️
thanks for watching!
Joey (Lucky Boy) Nato Thanks for your hardwork bro. All the music you've created, your eye-opening commentaries and everything. Appreciate it a lot ✌🏻️
Was waiting for your reaction! Enjoyed it as always. Your breakdown of the production gives so much more insight on the whole meaning of the song.
I like professional+serious commentary! 💜
Baepsae, Joey, Baepsae.
"I haven't heard anything like this before.... I, aight"
Felt that
Nice reaction and nice explanation! Everything changes in the end since his "shadow" is talking now. I like how disturbing and scary it sounds. And you pointed out that in the beginning we can barely hear his goals, but then after the chorus, we can hear him clearly. I hadn't noticed that!
Thanks for the video Joey!
I love how your unconsciously making theory of your own. And due to your comments in the MV I also came up with a theory of my own. Hahahha
Love your breakdowns hearing it from your perspective. .you have a wonderful personality joey. .an so fun ...thanku love am god bless x
Hey Joey, I just want to say I love watching your videos and learning things from a producer perspective. The way you explain things from songs you breakdown sounds very informative and your humor is really my type of humor. I appreciate all the love for different kinds of music and I hope that your career is full of success.
Ooft first sgshsh, love your commentaries 💜💜💜
thank you so much!
Genius!
I love your professional analysis ! 💖👏🏻👏🏻
I always find myself coming back to this reaction of yours. It amazes me on how you could get the gist of the story behind this song from just the music alone. This is one of the many reasons as to why i’ll always look forward to your bts reactions.
that means a lot, thank you!
For some odd reason I love the way you say "Suga" lmao
I hadn't watched your bc videos in a while and I appreciate how you were defining the terms.
Proud of the development.
I just wanted to say that even at the beginning of the song he didn’t say ‘i wanna go drink” but he said “I wanna go win”
When he said " ha that's kinda funny. We laugh" I laughed so hard I cried .
Thanks! I always liked how you focus on the music and where the sounds come from, it does help those of us who understand what the song and the MV is about more.
YOWWW!
I REALLY LOVE YOUR REACTIONS BRO!
watching your vids is like watching an educational channel. I learn so much stuff just by listening to your explanations!! Thank you so much !!
I WAS SO EXCITED FOR YOUR REACTION.. YES!!
This is a true version of muisc producer reacting to another music producer lol
you know you’ve made it when the subtitles say “music” when you’re singing.
I love watching how you react to their music and how you teach us what is the beat for. Hope to see more when the album is out.
