My 2017 ram with hemi gets almost 15 around town. Last 300 mile trip I got just over 24 mpg. That’s with 33 inch tires and magna flow exhaust. One day I would like to get a diesel

My 04 2500 5.9 Cummins with an air dog fuel system intake horn K&N cold air intake 6 speed South Bend dual disc clutch and 4:10 gears I get 17 mpg and that's pretty good for me at 19 years old. My first truck was a 2000 Ram 1500 4x4 318 I was lucky to get 12 mpg

My 08 6.7, fully deleted, g56 swap, h&s mini maxx, 6" intake, 5" straight pipe on 20x10 with 33s is averaging 24 on the highway
I have a leveled 2015 F150 with 33s and I get 13mpg city 😅
I had a 96 12 valve with 40hp injectors, pump modifications, and increased timing. That thing pulled like a train compared to the tuned 6.0 I had before that.
I've got a stock 2017 ram 6.7, trip to south Texas 22 hours each way. My truck was getting 24 mpg. Changed the tires to 35s and it dropped to 21 the next year on the same trip. Its a daily driver and has 68k on it now and is still completely stock.
My dads 2nd gen gets about 22 empty, and 19 with a camper or trailer

Start doing those squats now if you go triple disc clutch. Build up those calves. Super grabby clutch. A dual disc would be the most I would go and still have it not a pain to drive. Dual disc south bend can hold quit a bit of power still.
Yet the only mod he hasn’t done is change the clutch handle😭

@@Stackali Teslas can get close to 400 miles on a charge now which takes 15 minutes. Who the hell drives longer than 5-6 hours straight 65-70 mph without stopping for 15 minutes to use a bathroom and eat? That is only relevant to cross country travel anyway. An average person drives 29 miles a day which is good for almost 2 weeks worth of use on a single charge lol

Manual transmission makes a huge difference on fuel mileage. My first new truck was a 95 Ranger 5 speed and my buddy had the same truck but Automatic and I got 4 to 6 miles per gallon better and I know the driver makes a difference but we switched and it didn't make a difference, manuals work less taking off and through all gears
Also to ad, you can't get mad at people for going "under" the speed limit when the speed limit on that road is 35🤣
Grew up a Ford fan. Owned a gen 3 dodge 4.9, gen 4 ram 5.7 and working on a gen 5 6.7. I'll never get anything but a ram. Even bought my wife a Durango.
I get 21MPG in 14’ RAM 2500 with 3” lift and 35’s with the manual 6 speed transmission
You should do a custom interior to your ram.
dude. if you've done any modifications like a chip, your fuel guage is very incorrect. it's not based on fuel flow. it's based on an algorithm, the more your throttle position sensor and the slower you go, it will tell you much higher. not a calculation of actual consumption.

I also get about 15mpg in my ford 7.3 in town (i have to hand calculate also). before i chipped it, wow i got like 26 on the freeway, but my economy on my chip is tuned up a little now. i didn't have much power in that factory tune to pull a hill with my 2 jetskis, had to have it floored. lol.
Stock is always cool, but have you ever thought about getting a new shift handle for the Cummins? A green or purple one with your brand maybe?

I just bought my first truck. It’s a 84 ford ranger 4x4 with a manual transmission and I’m gonna put 35 inch tires on it and a 4 inch lift kit. It won’t really have the best fuel mileage after that

Hey Ryan, you changed the way i looked at truck and you inspired me to get a Ram 2500 (Cumminton) too. I noticed that if i used Amsoil i get more milage for some reason. Explain that for me, why is it so?
Your hellcat can achieve half the mileage of my Acura integra but it's got a lot of parts tunes and hours put into it. 8.5mpg Over average because less restrictive intake and exhaust higher efficiency electric system and a tune for 93 octane gas. 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. Benefits of being friends with computer geniuses and mechanical engineers. But still costed 10,000 for everything
