Yo love the channel and how mindful you are about feeding your dog proper meat, keep doing your thing!

One toxic exposure people may want to consider is their mattress. Many of them are loaded with chemicals. We spend many hours on a mattress, so going to a chemical free mattress would make a big impact. Applies to dog beds also.

Such a great point! Mattresses & bedding are often missed but you're right, we spend a ton of our time on them, and even more importantly the time spent is some of the most critical for our health as well. Natural fabrics and stuffings will always be the best route. I hate that most mattresses are made from petroleum-based chemicals (especially memory foam) and natural alternatives are exponentially more expensive. It's a sound investment though!

@@mamabear9389 So true! If they are anything like the other clothing and fabric products that come from China I'm sure they aren't very good!

I have been carnivore for 3 years. I just wash with water and never seem to need moisturizer. I am 70 years old.

I've been the same way but I always get dry in the winter months because I'm outside a lot and the freezing air drys and cracks my knuckles. Tallow has been an absolute game-changer when it comes to that. I never felt like I needed it on my face but when I started using it I was genuinely surprised by the difference it made.

@apexpackandtribe It is definitely great to have something on hand for winter. I think running the furnace can actually dry skin out too. We now have minisplits and have noticed that the air inside does not get as dry.

@@mamabear9389 So true! HVAC/furnace systems are dehumidifiers by nature and are notorious for drying out your skin, so people that spend a lot of time indoors might have problems with that.

I use soap nuts for laundry. Vinegar for softener. Dry clothes on a line outside.

I use vinegar quite a bit and love the way it makes clothes feel. Throughout my childhood we always dried clothes outside on a line and I kind of miss those days of running outside to scoop them up real quick before a storm blew through haha. Those were much simpler times!

@apexpackandtribe We moved to a very rural area 3 years ago. I always wanted a clothes line and now I have one. I haven't used a dryer in 3 years in spite of our sometimes harsh winters. The clothes smell so fresh and your clothes last alot longer.

@apexpackandtribe Go for it! I spend money on organic non toxic clothes, and it keeps them from wearing out.

@@mamabear9389 I think I will! Thanks for the inspiration! Clothing is something that is often overlooked but it is so important. Synthetic materials are horrible and aren't getting enough attention. More info is coming out about that stuff, which is good. I've been seeing a lot of articles about those Shein clothes from China and how they are loaded full of carcinogens and PFAS. Cheaper is not always better!
