    The way you smoothly nib inked the claws without a guide was amazing!

      Thanks! the wrist bone as a pivot point on the desk helps a lot with those slight curved lines.

    I love your narration just as much as your video footage. (And classic X-Men)

    Can you do a Norm Breyfogle art style?

      Oh yeah, never got round to Norm Breyfogle. I'll make sure to come round to him in a future video cause he had some great Batman covers in the 90s.

    Best to find Silvestri’s pencils and practice over those. You’re pretty much just laying down black over Dan Green’s inks.

      Lol very true. In a perfect world I’d have both the pencils and the inks. That would be awesome.

    How’d you print the blue line on paper? What kinda printer did you use?

      color overlay in Photoshop and had kinkos print it on A3 thick matte paper.
      If it was A4 I could have done it at home but yeah, A3 is very close to the original size of a Marvel comic book original page.

    What issue is that?

      It's the opening page of Wolverine 34. (Mine is a Dutch reprint with issues 29-30-34) Track it down, you wont regret it.

    Quick question, on what paper did you print your blue lines? Was it on bristol?

    • @retrosuperheroart2202
      @retrosuperheroart2202  3 месяца назад

      It was their standard thickest white matte paper. (number 200 I remember) It was probably a bit too smooth for inking. But it worked in the end though.
