    Sold! I was drifting between two of these or one American bass elite 12". Sounds like these will work well with my Skar rp2000 @ 2 ohms for about 750w each.

    I'm running a single E12 v4 and I agree with your assessment . You have to run them in a sealed box to get music like Korn and Slipknot to sound right . That being said , in a ported (2 cubes tuned to 29Hz) it rattles my car more than two RF P2's in a ported prefab .

    • @HiFiVector

      Yea they flex a lot but sound quality is mediocre. For rap they are ok but not for rock country or metal. Thanks so much for the comment

    i just got a set these from big jeff after watching your live stream (never heard of him till then) i also got the expert electronics dsp after your tutorial i returned the first 1 because i could not figure it out and the instructions sucked. i have always built my own enclosures but alas i have gone perfab. i felt like it was going to be a PIA to build one for my new truck. i got a fox acoustics 2.2 cube tuned to 35 for the sundowns, my old RF POWER DVC 10.s have given me many years of use but they don't play well with the new set up. audio vega keep it up i appreciate what you do thanks' for taking the time to pass on some knowledge.

      Yes! The Soundstream txp amps are the best watt per dollar amps on the market and they put out what they say, look nice and are compact. I have 4 of them and they have all been super reliable. Thanks so much for the watch and comment.

    Love the informative video man ! I’ve been planning to get the E-12 with sfd 600d but I’m confused between ported or sealed box. I want the bass to be tight and punchy but i kind of want it loud too from this sub only

      Go ported then. That sub is pretty accurate. Even a Ported Box and you again so much more volume Ported, then sealed.

    I have 2 12” sundown sav2’s clamping 2750 watts to the pair and they take it. 145db @ 34hz ish I can’t remember exactly but they slam hard and low. I want to try the e12’s for another build. I bet they would slam in a box tuned around 32hz 2cubes per sub.

      Sure man I could help you just give me some more information. Do you want one single box or two separate boxes do you want sealed or ported.? And do you want sound quality or SPL or SQL right in the middle? Also how much power you going to be giving them what amplifier are you running?

    • @johnwiechel
      @johnwiechel Год назад

      @@HiFiVector I was thinking 1 box almost like a down firing box. So guessing it'll need to be sealed, if this type of application can work with these. Idk the version these subs are about to get them on a trade deal. I'll have a 1200w pioneer gm-9601 most likely or a DB wdx 1kg2 1000w.

      As long as it it REAL 400W. If it's under that I would maybe go with a lower wattage sub. Although it will still work you won't be getting all of its capabilities if you drastically under power it. Thanks so much for watching!
