    Thanks for watching! What are two things you want to improve on from your last self-haircut?

  • @etbruin
    @etbruin 2 года назад +5

    Not a failure Alex. STILL DOPE BRO. You should change the vid title to “ experiment turned out to be a dope ‘tight taper’ or ‘taper fade’😎. I’d say over 90% of RUclips vids are all about getting that dope bald fade. Starting from top to down is the best way to do a taper since there’s no guide line needed especially for beginners. Bald fade is in these days but taper cuts are timeless. The new do looks awesome. More power to you💪🏼😎

    Barbers can stack guards bc they fade so much. Definitely a learned technique and not the easiest on yourself. Usually Bossio fades down to make check density and make sure it’s dark at the ridge

  • @mads5610
    @mads5610 2 года назад +2

    I used to do it this way, from top to bottom, but it only worked for longer #6 to #2 guards. For bald fades I rather put in the guidelines as well.

    I always find down fading easier and I’m just a beginner barber. When putting in guidelines I either can’t see them often or they’re too harsh to take out.

    This is actually what i do. I feel like its easier for me than normal fade method.
    I learned it from other tutorial. Its just time consuming.
    Maybe next time ill try then non reverse fade.

    Yeah man. It’s all about watching the transition. It’s better when cutting others hair. For beginner barbers it’s almost impossible. But I’ve been cutting almost 2 years. N I can fade down pretty good. It’s all about having that vision of what you want to achieve and get it done.

    I have a question Alex. I'm an amature!!!
    Έχω κουρευτεί γύρω στις 6-7 και βλέπω πρόοδο. Αλλά θέλω μια λεπτομέρεια εάν γνωρίζεις την απαντήσει. Έχει να κάνει με τις ζώνες/οδηγούς/bands που δημιουργούμε. Βασικά όλοι λένε για το fade όσο κατεβαίνουμε κλείνουμε το level και όσο ανεβαίνουμε ανοίγουμε το level. Η ερώτηση σου τώρα είναι η εξής... Όταν κάνουμε την πρώτη γραμμή περίγυρό/band έχουμε ανοιχτό level η κλειστό; Εάν πχ είναι ανοιχτός.. τα επόμενα level γίνονται και αυτά με open level? Το λέω γιατί κάποιοι λένε οκ πρώτη γραμμή no guard level open, δεύτερη γραμμή 1 guard level close. Αυτό δεν καταλαβαίνω. Γιατί δεν είναι όλα με guard level open & as we fade we close the level.
    If i was clear please reply back.

    What number could you have used to soften up the dark line on the left side of your head? I feel like that could’ve been blended a little more to not have such a harsh transition from light to dark.

    • @robrealcuts
      @robrealcuts 2 года назад +1

      One n half. Or one open to close. Just playing with the guards till you hear them slightly cut.
