I lied - I’ve now changed to 65 alchemists and 65 tailors. Making about 500k + a week.
Feels like they made Alch into a hybrid of Inscription with the transmutagens.
Thaumaturgy seems like a nice addition too
I might take alchemy just for thaumaturgy. That looks so cool and fun
I agree, it's a fun new addition - i think there's going to be some great shuffle potentials
Damn hated alch in dragonflight.
I really only enjoyed the Dracothyst for alchemy but this is looking like a good new look at alchemy so im excited
Have they fixed how we acquire knowledge points? or is still a horrible gate?
Hard to say just yet, since most of it is not implemented yet. You can only get it from first crafts atm or obviously from the testing vendor.
But I imagine it's going to be a lot of the same time gating from the looks of things.
Also i think they could adjust some of the previous systems we have had in dragonflight but barriers to entry are good, even if its just time gating
Do we still get concoction still?? You said it no different from dragonflight?
Not the same items as we have in Dragonflight, but the systems behind the recipes are very similar

@@tronicmighty7464 We will not have the same one we had in Dragonflight, but we will have new items that represent the same system

from my understanding they made it worse for people trying to make money early on simply bc in DF the potions needed Omnium Draconis which split the alchemy market making it so that some alchemists would focus on making that while some focused on making potions creating more than 1 type of market and spreading out the competition a bit. Now in TWW the potions do not require Harmonious Horticulture ( the Omnium Draconis of TWW) they only require the herbs which means the competition will not be split and everyone is going to have to make potions which will drive the price down faster and make it way more annoying to sell them
Material costs are fully placeholder for TWW still so you can't really rely on that
@@Zanzarful Fair enough I hope they do end up making potions use Harmonious Horticulture as I enjoyed optimizing the ability to make the regents people needed rather than making the actual potions
Looks like you can do 8x per day
The 8 charges have a 24 hour recharge timer per charge, so once you've used all 8 you can only do 1 per day
This is nice because it basically means you can store up charges and use them every few days.
