I grew up in Staten island. I lived in Stapleton grew up in the broad street firehouse ladder 77. Did a lot of swimming in tottenville as a kid

Automatic pump panel. I pumped the old way, before the automatic pump. An orangutan could pump the Engines now. No more setting your own relief valve. Many of the Pump Operators now have never heard of “gravity priming”. I pumped for 30 years and sure do miss it !
