It is a large part of how she got there, son. A very large part. Me, I am a grade A male. Loved it.
It always seemed to me to be a combination of her lovely smile and her smoky eyes as she looks askance at you.
It appears that a large part of success for women in Hollywood is tied to the smile and laughter - look up Julia Roberts or Charlize Theron, or Jennifer Lawrence, or Julia Louis-Dreyfuss.
Yep. There is still some true talent there of course, but a wonderful beauty can still be much more important. That is the way it is, son.

Crazy to think, this was a time when she was past staring in Taxi Driver with De Niro in her prime, a movie star making a comeback on tv series with a relatively unknown Bruce Willis, who was then known more for wise cracking comedic banter and not as a tough guy.

@jimmym3352 You know, it's for that very reason I'm glad I still have the full series on DVD. They were released in 2005, as aired.

The interview was aired 2 years before Die Hard (the movie). The time when people thought 'Bruce Willis is very funny'. Those were the days, my friend...
And to think, the only reason Bruce was able to make Die Hard was because Cybil got pregnant, which freed up Bruce to start his movie career.
So often these days, I'm coming across movies and interviews from decades ago where you can see that people were just so much more relaxed and satirical about all things 'battle of the sexes' than we are today. What happened? Why is everyone so hysterical and stupid now?
