Wonderful documentary that everyone should watch! I am a non-hunter who has no desire to pull the trigger myself. However, like the video states, not one of us leaves this earth without blood on our hands. Hunters at least take responsibility for the food on the table instead of killing by proxy... like so many of us in today's world. Well managed hunting is critical for wild species...not just in North America but the world over. This video not explains a bit of the North American Model of Conservation and why it is so effective at conserving wildlife and habitat...but it also shows the heart of a true hunter and their love of wildlife and wild places. Thank you for making such an important and beautiful documentary.
Outstanding! Watching this as a non-hunter but I am an advocate for hunting and conservation! Thanks for opening my eyes for more reasons to take conservation serious when it comes to land conservation, the cycle of life, and working collaboratively to preserve our public lands.
You are exactly the type of person we were hoping to reach with this film! I am a non-hunter as well (for the time-being), and was way out of my element when making this film. But it was an amazing journey, that really opened my eyes to the different methods and reasons behind conservation.
Great video! I too did not grow up hunting, as my father had stopped when I was born. But he took me deer hunting when I was 18 because I wanted to learn how, and I’ve been doing it at every opportunity ever since. In the week of COVID-19, I’ve begun to look at it much more seriously Beyond concerns for conservation, and for my own benefit. Having some clean organic meat in the freezer is a great hedge against any future disruption in the supply chain. Furthermore, how cool it is to see a bolt action shotgun!
That's wonderful! I have found that many people didn't start hunting until they were older and didn't have that foundation than a lot of people get hunting when growing up so that is why I wanted to make this film to try and get people up to speed who don't know about this side of things.
Want to get more interested in hunting? Try getting some hunting dogs as pets, especially if you have land for them. I had a Plott (RIP at 13.5 years) and also German Shorthaired Pointers. There are lots of other breeds too - Vizsla, cur, Redbone, Black & Tan (not the kind you drink), Treeing Walker, Beagle and lots more.

Thank you! I really appreciate that!

Thank you Julie!

Without hunting, many species would be in really bad shape. Great video, thank you for putting this out
Thank you!
Well done. Thank you for sharing your journey!
Thanks Pat! Couldn't have done it without you suggesting about 1000 books!

Thanks for the tip! Sounds awesome
I've always wanted to get a Brittany... now that I am getting more into hunting, I might have to make it a reality.
God bless Teddy
