I really enjoy your videos. I stumbled on them by accident last summer, early 2017, and they pushed me over the edge to get a newer detector so I went with the AT-Pro. I found a lot of newer coins then some back around 1900. Now, I have a 2nd machine, the AT-Max and am going to start some water digging as soon as the rivers drop here in Idaho, along with some light prospecting. You provide many tips for the new folks, which I really like. Thanks for the new hobby, I really enjoy it.

Made a similar comment on another video, but you don't have to turn the carrot off to super pinpoint. Just tap the button(while it's on and beeping) and it'll detune the pinpointer which allows you to pinpoint closer. If you detune too close to the object and null out all signals, you can start over by holding the pinpointer in the air(or just further away from the target) and tap the button again and it'll reset the tune. I always have my pinpointer on highest sensitivity and just detune on the fly.

The first thing looks to be the cap from a cut-out fuse. Used in the power industry. I’ve replaced many over the years. If you look it will probably have a number like 15 or 20, that’s the amp rating. If you get lucky it might have a brand name like Kearney or Chance on it. Nice vid as always chigg

Your wife must be very understanding with all the time you spend out hunting. Love your videos. I recently got the detecting bug. We have an old White's spectrum (very old). So we decided to go buy a new one, was going to buy the Garrett AT Max but when we went to the metal detecting store the salesman talked us into buying the Minelab Equinox 800 and a Garrett pin pointer which I love. Being a newbie we are still trying to figure out how to run it. Hope to find something besides nails and scrap tin. Anyway, thanks for all the inspiration. If you have any pointers on the Minelab or have done a video please point me in that direction. Thanks again.

Still, any day I can watch a Chigg video is a good day. We has a whopping wind storm here yesterday and it blew down some tree's and kicked our power off until 10 p.m. last night. The sorriest thing about it was I didn't get to watch you dig until this morning. It was upsetting!

Aquachigger I ran across your Channel while I was up in the hospital recovering from having a stroke and a heart attack at the same time I can't be like Grandpa who had the heart attack or dad that had the stroke. No I have to be the family overachiever and have both at the same time. So I get out of the hospital early get home to find out that the old woman is taking up with some guy she met online and we call it quits and I go out immediately and buy this Garrett AT pro I seen earlier in the week at a pawn shop that she told me no you can't have that. Been a year now and I really enjoyed your Channel. You've been my inspiration that got me up and not sit around and feel sorry for myself having a stroke and a heart attack and a cheating old woman. There is a lot of physical therapy in swinging that Thang and digging. I'm privileged I got to have my stroke on the right side. Physical Therapy like you would not believe. Keeping that coil straight. And for some reason your videos usually come out about the time I got my fingers in the defrosters sitting in the truck after a hunt. And give me something to do while I'm waiting for my hands to thaw out enough so I can drive my old hands just freeze up real bad here lately. You keep making them I'll keep watching them. While I try to set the world's record for the number of pull tabs found in one day.
