Full No Death run in one sitting on Hard mode. No restarts, no nothing.

- All stashes collected ( except one, that I so hilariously foolishly missed )

I missed the last stash in the Suki the Sniper stage, because the jetpack kicked me into the exit! So dumb! Well, not gonna repeat the whole game just because of one pick up! It's on a hidden platform right to the left of the exit, behind the foreground.
The reason I am not playing on Badass difficulty is simply because on this mode you are constantly one hit away from death. Always. There are no health refills, nothing. That's the only difference between difficulties - how much health you have. Enemy quantity and damage are the same across all. Badass is meant to be played stage by stage, speedrunning through the level. Not gonna try to 100% a two hour long, difficult game in one sitting without taking a single hit!

I love all the classic references from 70's - 80's cinema in this game. The game is basically 'The Warriors' meets "Escape from NY" - I found a secret area and Snake Plissken showed up and dropped his iconic gun to me.. I just got to Murdock and he's making 'Apocalypse Now' references. This is great. It's basically that 'Far Cry: Blood Dragon" tone with the actual retro gameplay to go with it.

70?! Except a couple of Dirty Harry one-liners there is nothing from the 70's.
80's - aplenty. And a good share of 90's too.
@@HexenStar there are direct quotes from Dirty Harry ('71) - Taxi Driver ('76') - Apocalypse Now ('79) - there's a reference to the car from Mad Max ('79), an Easy Rider Reference ('79) - They use a lot of references to The Warriors ('79) including the all girls gang bar from it - A xenomorph from Alien ('79)... I'm sure I could go on.. but hopefully you're just 16 and have no historical reference yet.

Stylistically, the first episode of this game was clearly inspired by
the old arcade "Crude Buster", only this time it's guns instead of fists.
It would still be nice to lift a tank though :-)

So 3 character have different traits ? Man somehow i just missed this, so whats the main different between them ?
The main difference is their subweapon and their main weapon. Sawyer is the best, imo, because of his boomerang + his magnum does the highest damage. Anna Conda has an axe that flies in an arch and submachine gun. Mow Man has something like shuriken knives and a weaker pistol, but with higher fire rate. But John Sawyer beats everyone. He is the best for speedrunning and score attacking. You can check my WR runs on my channel.

There is another difference: sub-weapon cooldown time. Sawyer has a slow cooldown. Mow Man has an excellent subweapon. Very fast, goes through enemies, can kill off-screen enemies and most standard enemies die in one hit.
Very little downtime with the recovery. Sawyer is a good character, but not the
best. It depends on your playstyle. I find his slow pistol clumsy. The best advantage of Sawyer - is that he has all the timelessly iconic one-liners.
@@HexenStar Sawyer's boomerang is what makes him the best character for speedrunning and scoreattacking. You can check it on my channel to see what I mean. As for the one liners, you are right!

Amazing work! Honestly in my opinion Cyra Rhodes is the hardest fight in the game; who do you think's the hardest?
Definitely Suki the Sniper, Hard-Knock Murdoch, Grandmaster Yuudai(if you don't have a solid strategy), Shogun (again, if you don't have a solid strategy).

Yeah, I wrote it in the description. It's on a hidden platform to the left of the last sniper. The foreground hides it.
