I believe the flute is some kind of pan flute. It looks a bit different from the ones I've seen in Brazil, but sounds the same. A very, very beautiful, clean sound.
General terms would definitely be pan flute, or also known as pan pipes. I believe the specific one here is a siku/antara/zampoña (in the Aymara, Quechua, and Spanish languages, respectively; the first two would be more indigenous terms). It originates from the Andean area of South America (so Peru and Bolivia). Likely similar to ones found in Brazil, but culturally different since they're on opposite sides/coasts of South America.

Unfortunately, their youngest child warrior is the latest victim here. She got dragged into the abyss so she could npt be resurrected..and you have to save her.

imo Genshin is at it's best when combining Classical Orchestral and Traditional Folk Instruments. Fontaine (though great) doesn't stand out as much as Sumeru, Liyue or Inazuma.

It is also my most favourite song in Genshin Impact. Besides this, i had high hopes for the music in natlan. And this performance just not fullfilled my hopes, it flew by them.
