    Theres something special about what hoyoverse is doing with their music that I wish more companies would sponsor. instead of just making a soundtrack they feed it back into the arts and it will give it a legacy like a king would commission a great orchestra work. I also love how they treat their performers like rock stars with pyro, lighting, and cinematography. wonderful reaction. They definitely do need these performed worldwide like you said at professional and community orchestra levels so people can experience it live without barriers.

    • @threethymes
      @threethymes 2 месяца назад +6

      I love that analogy of a king commissioning a composer. They invest so much in the music - even supporting music schools and of course allowing all their music to be freely played. What amazes me is their foresight to do so right from the start. I think a third of their budget went to the music. That's something other games don't do.

  • @rotten87

    'This needs to be performed live, all over the world' - Yes! ❤ It's so sad that so many people are missing music like this simply because they don't play Genshin, or games in general. I believe we should rethink how we perceive modern media, because with storytelling and music like that games deserve more recognition than films now. Thank you for sharing your reactions to it and spreading this beautiful music a little further. ❤

    These songs make me a bit scared. I emotionally connected to them on the first listen even before Natlan came out. Looking back at Sumeru and Fontaine, they took the everyday songs of the region and played them at and important moment and linked them so emotionally to the story. I can't listen to those songs and not get emotional. And this song you just know they are going to play at some epic emotional bittersweet moment and ruin us.

    Finally someone who connected this with Christopher Tin's Baba Yetu. I absolutely adore that piece since I had the chance to perform it as the soloist with my choir, and I instantly recognised the language because of that. It felt like an odd choice at first to use an existing language for this theme (and I think this was the first time too), but everything just clicks together so well with both pieces here, it's just breathtakingly amazing.

    many Orchestra has made genshin performance. but the bar is really high, because of the range of musical instrument that are involved, it is extremely hard logistically. only big cities like Shanghai, Tokyo, London stand a chance in finding all the musician required to play the huge variety of instrument... maybe it would draw more people to pick up world music just to perform genshin music...

    It's not a question of IF this will get played live, but when. The Genshin Impact Orchestra always does a World Tour and Naltan's music will mostly like show up there next year. To briefly explain the game- the story takes place in a fiction world. There are different nations in this world and each nation has real life inspiration. Natlan is the newest nation in the game that gamers can explore and as you see, the music is heavily inspired by Tribal, Spanish, and African music. Last year, the nation that dropped was Fontaine, but it's music wasn't included in last year's concert since it was brand new. So it's unlikely that this year's concert will have Natlan because it's new also. Hoyo-Mix also makes OSTs of the game too that gets released year-round. More than likely I'll eventually get it.

    The fire was awesome. They do have another world tour, hopefully you can attend.
    Only two regional themes remain; "Mondstadt" (Europe) and "Liyue" (China) (the video previously reacted to did not include the "Liyue" Theme. I recommend the full "Reflections of Spring" mini Concert by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra for "Liyue". It is a great mix. ruclips.net/video/8svl0sQXDLI/видео.html
    1 "Moon in One's Cup" - Daytime Capital City Theme (Liyue Harbor)

    3 "Devastation and Redemption" - Cutscene Track w/vocals Opera!
    4. "Rays of Sunlight" - Overworld Music (Minlin region)
    5. "Through the Eyes of a Dragon" - Cutscene Track (a variation of the famous "Rex Incognito")

    1. Singing this will resurrect the fallen warriors from death on battlefield
    2. The lyrics in my opinion imply "fallen warriors" as "genshin players who have been absent for a long time", "come back" means the devs expect them to return to the game
