That’s what I’ve been saying or something along those lines anyways. And further evidence is that Mavuika as far as Archons go does not demonstrate the level of power you’d expect from someone who holds or even channels a part of the Dragon Sovereign power. I also would argue most likely that the flame holds most of the Sovereign Authority and is the real “Archon” and the Archons of Natlan simply attune to the flame and can borrow part of its power but never all as most of it needs to stand and hold back the abyss. Also the Night Kingdom being corrupted is a good sign that the Flame is the Authority as it’s a huge source of pyro that holds back the abyss specifically despite there being no leylines or night kingdom to draw the pyro energy from. It also gives more kudos to both Mav and Cap honestly since it really is their own power clashing and not too much in terms of Archon ability at that point (Archons move mountains casually and split islands in a single moment and all of Mav’s attacks were small building level at most).

I also come with this realization about Traveler been the Dragon King reborn. I mean, they can cleanse the abyssal power, they can CONTROL ALL the elemental power without vision (So without Celestia influence), the Abyss Order mages keep saying to the abyss twin "When YOUR kingdom returns..." making us to belive that they are talking about Khaenriah, but what if they are talking about a GREATER and OLDER Kingdom? Like, in Natlan we are presented with the idea that Dragons had a entire civilization, with ruins and everything. It is almost like Celestia try it to hide this from the world for millenia, and when someone find it, they are punished, like Orobashi. But them, why two sibilings, and why just one of them are considered a Descender? What if there is no two. What if the Heavenly Principles had split the Nibelungs soul in two entities. And thats why they believe that they are sibilings, when in fact, are just one pearson. One divided soul. Neuvillette doesnt had the memories from the previous Hydro Soverign. Aether and Lumine wouldnt either, but they remembers the Sea of Flowers in the End, a camp of flowers named INteyvat. Is pretty obvious that they are NOT aliens. They were made to believe so. Either by the Heavenly Principles, or maybe, by the laws of Teyvat fate itself. The travail trailer said that the Pyro Archon will share a secret with the traveler. And in Archon Quest, Mavuika said that she knows him, more that he can imagine. I am excited to see how this history will be unfold.
3:34 just saying this is definitely not the pyro dragon, but probably the dragon king nibelung. It looks very different from the actual pyro dragon we see in the other murals
Yeah it was indicated I believe. When the traveler touched the mural, the golden design, or at least what i think it is, said the sin that will destroy the world or smt like that. The only sinI can think of is the abyss brought by Nibelung.
I think Nibelung it’s a sort of an avatar of “the formidable father” or like a general of all dragons (archangel) and the actual formidable father it’s outside the eggshell ¿¿ Idk take it as a grain of salt
And we have no reasons to assume the figures in the picture are Shining Shades. They could very well be Seelie before their fall. Or they could be what became gods in modern Teyvat.
@@kotarouinugami1745 but do seelie have the ability to protect irminsul (i think i spelled it wrong). I think only the shades would do that. it would be reasonable if the shade that died was ronova (death) since xbalanque tapped their power and made the rules of natlan.
And people called me names for saying they are "Dragon Gods"(real thing in Chinese mythology btw)😔. *sips on my boba tea* But here comes Minslief stating same thing so bless you and future Dainslief pulls.❤🎉
What if the 7 sovereigns are like the former heroes/geniuses of Khaenriah (now known as the Sinners of Khaenriah) each being the strongest in their element with Nibelunge being the King over then similar to Irmin. Also Ronova isn't dead because they're are the one who made a deal with Xabulanque the Furst Pyro Archon. Which i think Ronova is the God of the Night Kingdom and the Shade of death. Xabulanque's deal might be what made the Ode of Resurrection possible
Nibelung is also mentioned in Neuvillette's character stories: "Was it not so, he would argue, that humans find their gaze stolen by the ripples from falling raindrops in puddles? And could it not be, he would explain, that King Nibelung had been wrong, and that the black void could only be opposed if all life were to band together as one?"
With the thought of Nibelung, I can't shake away the events that transpired in Simulanka. Idk if there was foreshadowing or what, but I feel we're going to meet another dragon or maybe 2
Simulanka almost confirms either a future dragonspine event or a mondstadt interlude archon quest. If we wanna be optimistic, perhaps a mondstadt expansion, ventis 2nd story quest, and an introduction to either Alice or Varka.
The death of the throne is the Death of the Archon and the BLACK DRAGON IN THE PAINTING IS THE DRAGON LORD HE BLACK AND IT SAYS HE SPITS BLACK FLAMES, on the 2 DIFFERENT PAINTINGS there are 2 different dragons @Minsleif❤

I'm pretty sure the dragon in the mural at 3:35 isn't Xiuhcoatl but someone else, probably Nibelung. It's a totally different color and design from the one Xbalanque is shown emerging from.
Cool fact about Richard Wagner (pronounced VAHGNUR) is that there is an adjective attributed to his name: "wagnerian" - meaning, having the enormous dramatic scale and intensity of a Wagner opera.
I think the traveler being a monster who can destroy the world in a single bite could also refer to a star. They go supernova, and bye world lol, or a black hole. I mean it could 100% refer to a dragon too, but eh. The twins being stars is the theory that I love the most. (And isn’t it all but confirmed that’s what they are?)
Great theory thanks for sharing, Now I think about seems like the five sinners have divided them selfs a power could shatter the whole world (this must be power of Neblum the returning dragon king with forbidden knowledge) + Dain had the ring of Neblum confirms they fought him during the cataclysm.
Oh and fun fact, "Kapatcir" the Thunderbird . You can't name it to Sausarian, and he gives the same response when you try to name him with other Sovereign names
Ok like hear me out cause this is what i got from this vid HAHAHA Imagine If the Dragon King is either part of the Primordial Dragons or the one that rules over (as stated in the vid) them but holds all the authority of all the elements? Or probably hold the omni element that everyone is talking about (ex: the Omni Dice in tcg) And that further proves that the Traveler might be the reincarnation of the Dragon king since the traveler can wield the elemental powers without a vision and they inherit that from the Dragon king? Lol Alr that's enough yapping
It's also a popular theory in the CN Genshin community that Azhdaha could be the Geo Sovereign, or their reincarnation. There isn't an exact title for "Sovereign" in CN, just "Dragon King". Azhdaha titles in CN ("Dragon King", "Lord of Vishaps", and "Sealed King of Geo Dragons") are shared with the Sovereigns, including Neuvilette ("Dragon King of Water"). He is extremely old (acknowledged by Zhongli), and he is very strong (evidenced by his battle with Morax and the Adepti after erosion). Kun Jun and Neuvilette have similar abilities: the former can read the "memories" of stones, and the latter can feel the "emotion" of water. Correct me if I'm wrong, but so far only these two characters have had such an emphasis on their elemental resonance/mastery. Jiu and Kun Jun's dialogue from Zhongli's second story quest also alludes to Azhdaha (or his previous incarnation) being present for the events of Before Sun and Moon. Notably, Jiu (Azhdaha's eroded amnesiac "fragment") refuses to "swear an allegiance to this insect", with "insect" referring to Morax. It is fitting that the Geo Sovereign who has lost his memory would look down upon being on good terms with an Archon.
That is a good theory at the end, it might happen if we have to fight against our siblings kinda like reincarnation of the fight between nibulung which is us and our siblings as the heavenly principle or primordial one
I might just be stupid but I just realised something when elemental authority was being mentioned. The travellers kit reflects whoever possesses the elemental authority.
I just want to bring attention to the scale and complexity of the world building in Genshin Impact. Additionally, given time, it may link back to the Honkai universe, which adds even more credence to my statement that this story is LITERALLY epic. Consider the Illiad and/or The Odysee, by “Homer”. The scale of those stories, stories such as “The Epic of Gilgamesh” are part of what makes those stories timeless classics and masterpieces. I firmly believe that Teyvat and Genshin Impact are contemporary types of something similar. When I think of the future of story telling, I think of video games. Particularly, I think of Hoyoverse. Sharing this journey with you all has been one of the highlights of my life. The cultural, historical, artistic, literary, and social relevance of these games is top notch. Minslief does an excellent job breaking things down for us. I like reading the lore and discovering for myself but… I’ll admit I watch every single Minslief video.
That isn't the pryo dragon because there ate two images one of the pyro dragon being killed by Xbalanque and the other one is the father if all dragons Nibelongue because their wings are different the other one has red lines and the other had purple which means the father of all the dragons is the one who killed a shade
about the traveller being the successor of Nibelung they are referred to the chosen of the dragons if I recall correctly, in the mission we discover more about the pyro dragon, so yeah, it could be
Maybe we dont purify abyssal corruption. Maybe we swallow it by drawing it in. In which case, will there be a point where we can no longer hold any more?
@@nicolas._.2294 At a glance, neither does the sibling. We don't know the threshold of it affecting us. From what we can see, the abyss doesn't affect us in the same way as natives; the traveler may simply not be experiencing any symptoms yet.
I'm only pointing this out since you're very accurate with pronunciation of names (Still the only creator I watch who gets Liyue's pronunciation correct). Wagner is actually "VARG-Ner". German name syllables starting with W are pronounced with the V sound.
After all this time, I’m still very curious as to what Miyuki meant by “these trees serve to suppress the one who lies beneath”. I’ve done some research on this topic, and there is nothing hinting at what entity she is actually referring to. All we know is that Miyuki instantly regrets giving the information in her next voice line. Could she be referring to the electro dragon sovereign??
When traveler touch the mural. It said that someone is laughing and said this isn't about "you" to traveler. I don't think traveler have any related to dragon
I really feel like that flame is the pyro dragon sovereign or its consciousness or something, and mavuika has to borrow the power because she's only human so she cant muster the pyro element on her own and perhaps you need some divinity in order to bless people with the power of pyro and thats why we cant resonate with the statues, other archons had their divinity so im just speculating that it may be a requirement. I'm open to interpretations of my theory!!
Mavuika told us there is a shortage of Pyro energy due to the abyss attacking the Night Realm (basically their leylines) thats why the Traveler cannot resonnate now as she is harnessing most of the pyro energy left. I would like to point out that Kana Kapatcir might have been the Electro sovereign. Our familier lil buddy, react with "too much pressure" when u try to name him Xuihcoatl, Kapatcir and Neuvillette. Also I tried to name Wanderer the same names and it is not available. So .... 👀 Raiden shogun might have killed the electro Sovereign. If shes not the electro Sovereign she still might be a dragon because of lil buddy reaction. You should try it if you didnt named him already ! Anyway, very good video as usual 🎉❤
But if traveler was the dragon successor, it wouldn’t make sense because we’re an alien from another world apparently? And we have a sibling? Right? genshin lore is too complicated 4 my brain
3:37 Do we know that those are Shades and not Seelies. We know that Seelies are fallen Envoys of Celestia. And We know That there were Enboys of Celestia in Natlan. Also isn't the Pyro Dragon colored mostly Red with little bit of gold and Black instead of mostly black with Purple and Gold. With the scene of him dead with Xbalanque winning over him he is red , in name card he is red. So wouldn't this be different dragon then the Pyro sovereign since they look different from each other. Like if we look at their heads they look different even if we don't count the color.
I was under the impression that Nibelung was the Second Who Came? My understanding was that Nibelung and the other dragons were defeated and had their authority stolen, so Nibelung left Teyvat in search of a weapon to fight the Primordial One with, and came back with forbidden knowledge. Nibelung's time away from Teyvat, and their deep contamination with forbidden knowledge, meant that by the time they returned they had become alien enough to qualify as a Descender.
Definitely not, because why would nibelung work with the primordial one to create gnosis? I also don't think that nibelung has a will that rival the world
@@Pre4xes_ That's not true. According to Neuvillette's "Vision" character story, the Primordial One worked with "the One Who Came After," not "the Second Who Came". Presumably, the one who came after refers to the third descender, which makes a lot more sense. The Second would never collaborate with the Primordial One, even if they aren't Nibelung, because the Second *also* wanted the Primordial One dead. Going back to the character story, the Primordial One needed to make the gnoses because they were injured in "the war of vengeance." That can't be the Primordial One's original conflict with the dragons because A) they weren't injured in that conflict, and B) nobody would've wanted revenge until *after* that conflict. That doesn't necessarily mean that the war of vengeance and the conflict with the Second are the same conflict, but it does make that a viable theory. Looking for proof, the wiki article on the gnosis specifically says the Primordial One was injured by Nibelung, but it only cites that same character story, which does not actually say anything about Nibelung *or* the Second, so it can't be used to confirm which being was the culprit. Nibelung's wiki article makes no mention of them being the Second, so their use in the gnosis article might just be the result of an overzealous wiki writer.
Not that powerful, the pyro sovereign was weakened after the war with the primordial one, it also didn't have their authority. Xabalanque also borrowed power from the shade of death.
No because it was a 5v8 against the dragons in their home turf, and the dragons still lost. 4 shades + primordial one v. 7 dragons + nibelung. It's technically a 1v8 since the primordial one split itself to 5, 4 shades and him
what is tsaritsa or the cryo dragon (if alive)is trying to take the 7 elemental powers for itself ??or making a new being which can use all 7 elements.just a possibility ig. and the role of childe or the fatui is to observe traveller ??or there might even be a possibilty that paimon is a creation of tsarista or cryo dragon after seeing the journy of the 1st siblings journey to study the 2nd siblings journey. or maybe even tsaritsa doesnt have a say in this and the dragon is the one controlling the fatui......taking the 7 gnosis to create a new being to fight celestia and not trying to befriend the traveller after the 1st sibling couldnt win or fully complete the journey
Is the forbidden knowledge the reason why those who spend too much time in the abyss are cursed? With gray hair and whatever dain has? It would explain why Kaeya knows so much...
Dainsleif looks more-or-less exactly the same as all pure-blood people of Khaenri'ah, and did not visually change in the Cataclysm. He seems to be suffering from Erosion badly, even if not on the level of Qiqi. Spending time in the Abyss doesn't seem to inflict any particular curses. Tartaglia, Skirk and Scaramouche spent a lot of time there, without any particular side effects. But it is said that somewhere deep in the Abyss, one can find Forbidden Knowledge. And while hilichurl shamans seem to carry it around with no particular problems (beyond being hilichurls), to humans, gods and even dragons it brings madness and pain.
We're pretty sure the central mural is the first Pyro Archon and his friend, the Sage of Stolen Flame, forging a way for dragons and humans to coexist. But it is hard to ascertain what exactly happened in the chaos of war on the side murals. Forbidden Knowledge was probably involved.
@@kotarouinugami1745 Sure, but on 3:38, Minsleif says that the mural "depicting the pyro dragon shows it killing one of the shining shades..." I was referring to the mural where actually there is more consensus that the dragon there isn't the pyro dragon.

@@kotarouinugami1745 yes, naming him after any playable character isn’t allowed but the saurian actually gives a reaction to naming him after the mentioned names
*spoilers for Natlan Archon Quests* It would make sense that the pyro sovereign is alive, and as it absorbs more power from Natlan, the Natlan we know now, suffers. Remember what Mavuika told us, in Natlan there's neigh impossible to generate pyro energy, they instead rely on the "odd magic" which they use (and unique to Natlan). my hypothesis is that, the soverign is alive and is gathering elemental powers to power up, heal and act when it feels powerful enough. I think that, the plan for Mavuika to actually succeed she is gonna destroy the throne similarly to how it was done in Fontaine. Hence why she had to make a 500 year plan, we (the traveler) is also a catalyst in all of this and I "fear" so is our "Dragon buddy". It would also make sense that the traveler could be the dragon king, however I believe the dragon king is an entity above the 7 sovereigns. The whole spiel of we being chosen by dragons in Natlan would feed into that theory pretty well, Dragon chose us, due to our status (yet unknown to us).
I must say this thing tho, Traveller is definitely not from teyvat, nor does he would become one. Hes not a dragon, but perhaps he might be someone who takes on the dragon's side rather than the Archon's side or New Teyvat (the current world). However about the Pyro sovereign, i can't say much because im yet to complete the saurian quest which takes us into the volcano (?) idk.. im gonna find out soon lol
I really don't get how Focalors destroyed the throne of the hydro archon so there would be no more future hydro archon, like how does one do that?! (is it like a physical throne or what D: )
The Focalors we see in the game is her divinity. By destroying her divinity, it released the power or authority the hydro archon held and returned to it's rightful sovereign owner.
@@peekafch so to destroy a throne, the divinity must be separated from the body first, then if the divinity dies, there shall be no more future archon of that divinity? because technically if an archon dies there shall be another one (like Ei and her twin sister) now im just wondering if every archon has a divine throne that they can destroy. Focalors also mentioned something like she became one or together with her hydro gnosis so is that possibly the form of separating her divinity?

8:30 really get me ngl. I thought minsleif gonna talk about the new furnishing in teapot where we can pet the cat, but a sponsor that I not expect.😂😂

The ancient lore of genshin is so good!
"oh chosen of dragons..."
I think Nibelung it’s a sort of an avatar of “the formidable father” or like a general of all dragons (archangel) and the actual formidable father it’s outside the eggshell ¿¿
Idk take it as a grain of salt
@@s.7033 interesting. Was mentioned in lore or is it based on mythos ?
Called you names??? Over a video game, how ridiculous. People need to learn what manners are
@@deaddeer7179 Yeah it was some typical toxic behavior. Being chronically online to point of that really...yeah...not fun. 😒
I'm in love with the Rumeria ost you have in the background. Honestly my favourite ost of any region before Natlan
With the thought of Nibelung, I can't shake away the events that transpired in Simulanka. Idk if there was foreshadowing or what, but I feel we're going to meet another dragon or maybe 2
Well considering the leggo dragon fight had 3 heads...👀
Simulanka almost confirms either a future dragonspine event or a mondstadt interlude archon quest. If we wanna be optimistic, perhaps a mondstadt expansion, ventis 2nd story quest, and an introduction to either Alice or Varka.
wait what happend there can u sum it up? i was busy with irl stuffs so couldnt play genshin since last few months

Though i have'nt touch genshin after furina banner, i still exited to watch your video just to keep up with the lore, Thank you minsleif.
They are stars, it isn't a theory. Fell to teyvat like a star, and they have star motifs everywhere
You can pet a cat if you do the petrichor archon quest

Great theory thanks for sharing,
Now I think about seems like the five sinners have divided them selfs a power could shatter the whole world (this must be power of Neblum the returning dragon king with forbidden knowledge) + Dain had the ring of Neblum confirms they fought him during the cataclysm.
No noooo 8:09 🥲🥲🥲 why did you leave in a cliffhanger
The Pyro Dragon will for sure be part of the story. It will be super weird if there's no story mention of them in the nation of dragons
Honestly I thought the black dragon was nibulueg using abyssal powers to burn the world but that tree is in the way.
Oh and fun fact, "Kapatcir" the Thunderbird . You can't name it to Sausarian, and he gives the same response when you try to name him with other Sovereign names
Ok like hear me out cause this is what i got from this vid HAHAHA
Imagine If the Dragon King is either part of the Primordial Dragons or the one that rules over (as stated in the vid) them but holds all the authority of all the elements? Or probably hold the omni element that everyone is talking about (ex: the Omni Dice in tcg) And that further proves that the Traveler might be the reincarnation of the Dragon king since the traveler can wield the elemental powers without a vision and they inherit that from the Dragon king? Lol
Alr that's enough yapping
8:00 it's not the traveler i guess, should be Paimon. 'Reborn' matches exactly with Paimon.
You can per cats in a Fontaine world quest,It's name is osse.

I think their is some misinterpreted about killing a shining shade . That pic depict celestia envoy not a shining shade both are different
Man i am tellin ya, the Pyro dragon is gonna have a Rodan entry from KOTM
That isn't the pryo dragon because there ate two images one of the pyro dragon being killed by Xbalanque and the other one is the father if all dragons Nibelongue because their wings are different the other one has red lines and the other had purple which means the father of all the dragons is the one who killed a shade
The traveler possibly being the successor or reincarnated form of Nibelung just broke my brain 😂
I remember you can pet a cat in petrichor if you do the quest in case you missed the event!!
about the traveller being the successor of Nibelung they are referred to the chosen of the dragons if I recall correctly, in the mission we discover more about the pyro dragon, so yeah, it could be
the biggest mystery still to this day is where and what happened to the electro sovereign
i love this channel so much !! best lore explainer !!! :)
Maybe we dont purify abyssal corruption. Maybe we swallow it by drawing it in. In which case, will there be a point where we can no longer hold any more?
We had no sign of abyssal power in us, meaning we don't swallow and keep it
@@nicolas._.2294 At a glance, neither does the sibling.

I remember when Neuvillette was the thumbnail.

3:37 Do we know that those are Shades and not Seelies.
We know that Seelies are fallen Envoys of Celestia.
And We know That there were Enboys of Celestia in Natlan.
Also isn't the Pyro Dragon colored mostly Red with little bit of gold and Black instead of mostly black with Purple and Gold.
With the scene of him dead with Xbalanque winning over him he is red , in name card he is red. So wouldn't this be different dragon then the Pyro sovereign since they look different from each other.
Like if we look at their heads they look different even if we don't count the color.
We know pyro dragon burn layne lines and seele. On of the heavenly envoy died for people sake
tbh it wont surprise me if Bennet turned out to be reincarnated pyro dragon that lost his memory 😊

So neuvillette can control handing out visions but the archons can't?
Yes, he doesn’t obey Celestia rules meanwhile the Archons are forced to obey and are also unaware of the vision provess
@@AmbroseVermillion plus archons are fake authority cant really use stolen power to it full potential
Alien god? Humans descending upon a terraformed land?
Sound familiar...
Chills bro chills
Just how powerful is the first human pyro archon to be able to defeat the pyro sovereign
Not that powerful, the pyro sovereign was weakened after the war with the primordial one, it also didn't have their authority. Xabalanque also borrowed power from the shade of death.
Love ur theories!!
I sometimes thought that the soveriegns and shining shades are equal powers... maybe im wrong
Wdym I missed being able to pet the cats 😭😭😭
Yay so excited for this video
So there's actually debate as to what the mural actually says. Like the other theory is that it's Nibelung burning the Irminsul tree in Natlan.

*spoilers for Natlan Archon Quests*
It would make sense that the pyro sovereign is alive, and as it absorbs more power from Natlan, the Natlan we know now, suffers.
I think he'll take no one's side and do what he thinks is the best because the heavenly principles aren't bad people and nor is the dragons.
