I'm very happy I seen this just now after realizing I been using sporting waves hair grease for years (Supposedly Owned By Oreal)... I ran out of hair grease last week I went looking in the store for another and they didn't have any sporting waves hair grease left ..the store had a brand called 360 style which is black owned!!! and has way better results on my hair!!! I got curious looked into the owners and brands I stumbled upon your video and it's amazing 👏🏿😍...I won't be buying Oreals sporting waves grease again!!!! I made a switch...Thanks so much for this video 💯it helped my confirmation
The conviction and strength in your voice is something I haven't heard on your channel and I LOVE IT. We do have an obligation to know where our money goes after it leaves our pockets! The corporations that have their fingers in legislation and politics and that MATTERS to us! I would love to know if you've tried anything from Lip Bar yet? I know your love of lippies is deep and would love to see you do a review on them! I'm also interested in Uoma Beauty but have a few foundations to get through before I buy another. I just ordered 3 Juvia's Place palettes and the Coloured Raine Vivids. I also LOVE Devinah Cosmetics but they are so hard to get ahold of!

The CEO of Sundial Brands - Shea Moisture is Cara Sabin, a Black woman. As she has said on her instagram (@cara_sabin), "Yes we are part of a larger organization, but we are Black founded and importantly Black led, by a majority Black executive team with a great deal of independence and autonomy. I don't personally want credit for this, but I do want people to put some respect on this brand and on my team that unequivocally and unapologetically stands for and serves the Black consumer."

I had the same response when this situation first happened. And I have managed to not spend $ on their brands since. And have spent my coins with black owned and smaller minority owned, and cruelty free brands when I can. They are such a big company and people told me it’s impossible but it hasn’t been lol sucky bc I miss nyx lol but I’ve gotten the opportunity to build real equity through more conscious commitment .annnddd I’ve forced to not become a product junkies too lol 😂

For instance, JD Glow (just got their new liquid multichromes) and Coloured Raine. I also ordered a couple of shades from Propa Beauty that you mentioned in the video and that design their lipsticks especially for deeper skin tones. There are also September Rose and OPV, which I have yet to purchase from because UK, but I'm looking at their stuff.
