Can’t wait for the finance videos- and congrats on becoming debt free! That’s huge when you’re entering this new season of marriage🙂 side note: new hair color looks great😉
This video came at the PERFECT time! Just moved to the Netherlands and classes start in a week and I have been feeling so behind and disorganized. Also been trying to put out more videos but its been so hard to prioritize time for it. Thank you!!
As someone who has watched your videos since the beginning, let me just say that I absolutely LOVE the direction you're taking your channel in. I would be thrilled to see you have your own podcast someday!
Watching your videos is apart of my self care , you always motivate me and uplift my spirit. Recently having a slide back with some emotional and physical stuff . This video was a reminder that I'm human and I can start again
You are such an inspiration! We have a ton of the same goals! I am excited to see how many I actually do! One of my main goals is to make sure I pray everyday. It was a rough year and I have a fight a head of me to protect my daughters. Which also made me realize how much my health means to me! And budgeting is a HUGE thing for me. I would love to see a video on it! ❤ Thank you for all you do, I am extremely grateful for your content!
Yes yes budget video! I'd love to hear your take on finances and savings. I have student loans as well, and I'd love to be proactive in paying them off early if possible!
Finance/Budget video? Yes, please! Loved this video! Working on saving for a home, moving my body more, and keeping up with personal appointments-hate the dentist! But I’m grateful for my teeth sooo that means enduring the dentist. Thanks for always taking your vids to the next level!
I’m going to be working on self compassion! Self love for me is taking care of myself but self compassion is not being so hard on myself, and listening to my heart not my mind. 💓
I absolutely love this series idea. I find too often that self care only focuses on the passive, not the active side of caring for yourself. Great job!!
Oh I LOVED that series Marie Kondo is just ethereal and SO cute. Thanking items that you let go was such a “kerching!” moment for me. Thanks for an AMAZING video :)
Yes please to the finance video! Would love some practical tips on how to save money for big things (overeas travel & future home, etc) while also paying off debt + managing everyday living expenses. So excited for the find your fire series! 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
I feel like I’m pretty good with environmental things, but I did put in my planner a schedule of organizing things like papers, mail, important documents and it’s working! For physically, I also want to keep track of my health better and I’ve already scheduled all my appointments for the first quarter. With career my boss is helping me a lot. But then - finance. I’m waiting for a confirmation that together with my husband we will finally buy an apartment this year so I hope I will be finally able to schedule my finances and set better and more specific goals rather than „Savings for apartment” ;) btw I love that series!
Whipped out the notebook for this one! I loved this video and it couldn't have come at a better time ♥️ I've been struggling to make more intentional choices, but this exercise really helped me determine the overarching goals that will drive me to succeed. Thank you, Carrie!
(yes pls make the budgeting video yes) Also I'm focusing on my mental health surrounding finances - trusting and accepting the journey of finding work that will sustain me but that I can also be passionate about and put 100% of my effort into. 💜
My main focus for this year is to Get my home in order. Due to health issues, burnouts and a lot happening in my life the last 8-10 years everything around me and about me is a mess. No money, home a mess, constantly tired, struggling on so many levels. But 2019 is the year when I will get some order in my home. I started alreday last year but there is soooooo much left to do. I am also focuing on doing my physio therapy better this year to ease a lot of my pain. I tend to skip it when pain sets in but then the pain gets worse so I have to get better at it. My third goal for 2019 is to get better income. I am constantly broke, I have cut as much costs as I can (no TV, only buy what I need to eat, not shopping anything I dont NEED, got my phonebill down and so on) but it still isnt enough. So I need to make more money. I have been on youtube a lot for inspiration and ideas. As my first priority is to get my home in some kind of livable order I have been watching a lot of decluttering and my favourite is a channel "My New Me". It is a woman who, just like me had health issues, not for as long as me but still long enough and how she decided to reclaim her life. Her first couble of videos are Wonderful! Such an amazing sence of humour and the cats are lovely. I find her jurney verry intresting so I figure maybe filming my work would help me be consistant about it. I am not out to make money of youtube or become something like that. But more of a way to kick my own butt. So that is my start. Due to my health and a lot of other things I am doing babysteps with everything. But I would llike to lrean editing. I have, for fun, done a few rambling, unfocused videos about my crafts and stuff but nothing too serious. So maybe, if I am not to overwhelmed I will learn som basic editing too during this year. But focus 1: my home in livable order focus 2: do my physio and focus 3: get a better income.. I have more things I want to ad. But with my burnouts and stuff I am scared to overdo things and set too high goals for myself
I'm in not exactly the same situation, but quite similar. I've kind of let everything go to hell, particularly my finances, environment, and health. I'm also having a bit of a "wake up" moment, and I've been making some small progress. There's no reason why I can't sort through this mess and have some clarity and happiness in my life. I deserve to be as functional and content as anyone else does, and of course, I wish the same for you. Cheers. 🤗
@@stephaniesmith8686 It is easy to just let everything just go it is a LOT harder to straighten it out again. A lot of the time I look at a mess and just feel the energy foat out throu my toes and just want to go back to bed. But babysteps helps. And to focus on the progress and not the mountin you hav ahead. Good luck *hug*
Carrie I just love how u are such a gorgeous person and I just love how much u Inspire me.. Please keep doing what u do u are one of the most beautiful and amazing sources of inspiration to me and lot of ppl.. u always show me ways of being a better version of me which is something I'm tremendously grateful for.. Thank you for being on youtube. Really Thank you 🙏❤❤❤
Dear Carrie, hi!!! It is quite I long time I have been watching your videos but I didn’t comment them and I am so sorry because I really enjoy it!!!! I think you are such a wonderful, nice and gentle person. Your tips are so good and you are so inspiring for me!!! I love your family, your habits, your house and your lovely Lanka!!! I have a 1 year old dog too!!! And the way Lanka behaves makes me think so much of my doggy Derek!!!! They are so nice!!!! I am so happy about these new video series because my resolutions for this year are to focus on career, finances and self care so let’s start together!!! And, yes please make the video on how you manage finances and loans!!! Bye lovely Carrie from Italy!
Looking forward to the new series! I’m surprised though that spiritual well-being didn’t make your list. I find when I’m feeling that connection the rest comes with much less fear or effort.
Yes PLEASE do a budgeting video! I had to quit my job to focus on my final semester of my BFA and I'm dreading the financial hole I'm going to be in at graduation... so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Fantastic advice as always. My goal this year is financially, but not to save. It’s to spend more. I decided to start supporting folks on Patreon that I have been sitting on the sidelines for quite awhile. It was time to get involved and help out because I can. It was time to take it to the next level.
Love the video. I'm a very organized person, o at least I was before having kids, and I miss being organized. I just don't seem to find the way to be organized again, with small kids (almost 3 years and 5 1/2 years old boys), there's always a mess in the house. When I try to schedule my week to get more done, all is getting messed with because of sickness or unpredicted events. I have become like, or things are super organized or I prefer it messy, organizing everything half way is just not me. I hate organizing everything to then find it messed up from someone else, this being my husband (with another logic of order or a lack of order), or my kids messing up. I really need advices for mothers......
So excited for this series! Only watched it now but will sit down with it again tomorrow and have a think about my categories, really like the idea of putting it all to paper!
I know you posted this video at the start of the year but I am treating November as a fresh start for my goals. I'm transitioning into a new exciting job (tomorrow is my first day! :D) + I want to really take advantage of this moment. Love love this video Carrie. I just subscribed!
I am trying to restart my life and get it back on track I would absolutely appreciate if you made a video about getting finances together and getting out of debt.
Hi Carrie! Amazing video per usual, thank you for taking the time to sit down and give us such great advice and content! Just curious, what's your Myers Briggs personality?? I feel like we're so similar so it would be interesting to know whats yours?
Ciao Carrie! Thank you for sharing this video, I'm really excited about the upcoming videos, you really should make podcasts, think about it. Lots of love!
Yessss as usual I love your videos and your whole vibe🥰 Budgeting is super important to me this year...saving is a must! Would love to see what you do for that!! I started waking up at 5 am too! About to rewatch your video on that!👏🏻👏🏻😁
Yay!!!! Looking forward to that!! It’s been a big change! But I feel so accomplished especially getting my workout done so early! Aaaand it’s nice to just be SO tired at night that I just fall asleep right away!
Hello! I just recently found you on RUclips and today I've gone down the rabbit hole watching your videos! I notice you wearing those big, thicker gold hoops in so many videos- where are they from!? I LOVE them!
I’m not sure if you know this (I didn’t for a long time) but be careful what things you put in your essential oil diffuser, some things can be toxic to dogs!! ☹️
You should do some videos on financing. I signed up for 401k this past year and I raised my credit score from 480 to 740 in less than a year! I definitely need to work on saving more money though! I really struggle with that.
twainslureca I first applied for a few credit cards and kept getting denied. I finally was approved for one at Ashley Furniture Mart. I used it to buy a couch and I paid double the minimum payment every month until it was paid off which took me about 6 months. By that point my credit had gone up enough to get approved for a Chase credit card.I used (still do actually) the Chase card like cash. I put all of my purchases on my card and I never spend more than I have. I typically put about 1200-1800 dollars on my card a month and I pay it off in full every month. I have two envelopes, one with all my money from my paycheck and the other envelope is for the money I’ve spent on the card. Everyday or two I go online and look and see what I’ve spent on my credit card and I take money out of my cash envelope and move it to my credit card envelope. That way I never spend more than I have. It’s helped my credit so much! I also had negligent charge on my credit report from an old bill that I didn’t pay which finally fell off my report because the 7 years had passed so that helped a bit too. Also once you open a credit card don’t ever close it. Even if you don’t use it still keep it open. It will help the length of your credit history which affects your points and it will help your debt spent ratio to be lower which also affects your credit score. You should try to keep your debt under 30 percent. Like for instance if you have 3 credit cards and one has a $3000 limit and the other two cards have $1500 dollar limits then you want to try to keep all the combined charges on the card under $1800 which would be about 30 percent. It’s ok if you go over but you get the best score if you keep it under 30. Mine goes over occasionally but o my temporarily since I pay my cards off in full now. Sorry if you already know some of this stuff! Lol hope it made sense and is helpful!
ccap3211 thank you. I’ve heard the use a credit card like cash thing but never heard how anyone did it. I can’t imagine having that lying around and not spend it before the cc due date. Thank you for that envelope idea! Congrats on perseverance.

I would love to here what you have to say.
I have a loud snoring dog as well sometimes it amazes me how loud he gets but I love him so much.
