Your reaction when it cuts in with the growl and heavy guitar is fucking priceless! I'm sure a lot of us can relate to the passionate smile and headbanging you display... Keep doing what your doing dude we appreciate it 😎👍
thats one thing that irks me. they have like 9 albums out now and people are ONLY reviewing new shit. if he wants female vocals, check out origiins and helvetios
I know a lot of people tend to prefer the earlier albums of their favorite bands, but from where I'm sitting, all my favorite metal bands (Behemoth, Meshuggah, Equilibrium, Eluveitie, others) tend to mature into their best selves right on the cusp of middle age and have released their best albums and material very recently

Quo Vadis - Silence calls the storm This band/song is quite old but still relevant and they are Canadian so please check them out! Your genuine reaction and excitement to videos like these is why I am subscribed!
Very cool video dude! Crazy song, another band for me to look into. :) Mentioned this a couple of times before, but you should react to: -Excuse Me- from -Fire of the Gods-. Metal band, rap, screams, good cleans and a black lead singer which you don't see that often. I hope you will react to them. Take care m8.
Someone mentioned Ensiferum who are at Midgardsblot 2018. But yes, I wanted Eluviete to be there also. We are yet to see the story unfold in Norway . But your reaction is priceless. I felt the same when I saw their video .
found a new song to like TY! i tear up when i hear a good Irish folk song. pairing that with death metal..my brain doesnt know whats happening yet. this song is actually out as a single in itunes. just got it myself \m/
The first time I heard Inis Mona I was blown away and that song has reigned as one of my favorites ever since....Love the vocals and hurdy gurdy, and the bag pipes and flute.....
Great reaction...bear in mind that their latest CD is all acoustic...so if you're looking for something like this, you might want to go with Origins, which is a great CD from start to finish. BTW, the song you reacted to a while back, King, is from the Origins CD. Ok, having said that, I'm going back to trolling vaginas :)
I got to see the band live some years back, it was kinda cool, after a few hard songs, they slowed down to play some actual proper Celtic music, was quite nice.
Im so glad I found your channel, I might have never found something as amazing as this band, its everything I love in a band, and your reactions were the same as mine while watching this :D
dude, I only just discovered you after watching the vid you did the reaction on. I gotta say, reactions were nearly 1:1 with how I reacted upon seeing this song for the first time. The most important part, however, is that you didn't just react. You analyzed the song after the fact which is how you earned me as a sub. Keep throwing the horns, bro.
Yeahh this is absolutely one of the best new metal songs I've heard in quite a while! The way the clean singing and traditional folk-ish instruments contrast the harsh vocals and instrumentals is perfect, it adds so much to the song!
glad you liked it man. Their latest release is an acoustic album which is still cool but isn't as heavy though the one before that "Origins" is full band in fact it's the album that the song you reviewed previously is from
First time reacting to your reaction vid. Seen a few now and like what your doing. Ive only discovered eleveitie a few days back and ive got stuck on m. Wouldnt mind you reacting to more of them. Inis mona. Thousendfould, king or even better rose for epona. That last one has the old female singer anna in it and it is super catchy and well ballanced. Youve got a new sub although this vid is from a time ago.
I got into Eluveitie early on when they released Slania and they seem darker and more heavier with their latest 2 albums, origins and the current 2019 album as well. Hopefully they'll continue to impress as their first 2 albums have gotten old but every once in awhile I'll listen to them and itll sound good but this new material, they seem to keep pushing the edge. Rebirth is just so amazing, seeing the video was just amazing. "King" is another great one and you'll also love "Worship". Its intense stuff.
Eluveitie is fucking awesome band. You shold go to their show! One of the best shows I have seen was their concert together with Fintroll (they called it Pagan Alliance) at Masters of Rock festival 2011. They played one of the songs (Tegernako) with 2 drummers! It was something mind blowing... Unfortunatelly I can't find any video on youtube :-(
the best way i could describe this band is like a melodic folk death metal. however i dont know how accurate that is as they are hard to put in one specific spot like you could with something like bulletride era in flames
Oh wow! Eluvietie shared your video on facebook! And their last album is acoustic so if you wan't more stuff like this song you should check out their previous albums Helvetios and Origins!
You can call it a death metal band, yes. Death metal with folk music elements. I don't recognize this band anymore due to many band member changes but I do like that it is still furious and they included guitar solos, which is very, very rare in this band's music.
Your face when Fabienne starts singing. Huh WTH, what language is that ?? Hilarious Now I really wanna see your reaction from Blind and frozen by Beast in black 😂😂. Yea you know why 😎
dude your reaction was exactly my reaction, lol. I've been a fan for a long time and agree that they sound better than ever with the new line up. check out their song Tarvos for a very similar feel to this one. #helvetiosforlife
This is the new line up. I saw them last year live, they are awesome live! The old drummer Merlin was dismissed for creative differences. The Hurdy Gurdy player/singer Anna Murphy and one guitarist Ivo chose to leave the band with their friend and started the band Cellar Darling. They got a new drummer and Guitarist but got two people to replace Anna, a new Hurdy Gurdy player and a new singer. You should check out the song Call of the Mountain. Anna is great on vocals in that one. 😁
Well GALATICRIMINAL the first time I heard it I didn’t know what to expect but the more I listened the more I liked and the mixture of the vocals and the different instruments really rang home to me there something about mixing traditional folk music with metal that really works I mean not all bands could get away with it but eluveitie pronounced elvayti have a really good understanding of different genres of music so that’s why it works for them not to mention there fucking awesome so hope you like what I’ve said mate. 👍👍👍
Great video as always, you would also dig "SOILWORK" from Sweden they are bad ass. They had a cool track with Devin Townsend years ago called Black Star Deceiver but overall they are a great band.
Saw these crazy fuckers last Saturday, they were incredible. I will say that they seem to have modernised their style a lot for this track, which is a good thing, since it also serves as a showcase of the new members (3 of the members left last year, and they got 4 new members in return). Love the experimentation and out-of-the-box thinking.
Eluveitie is one of my all time favorite bands. So good. They had a lineup shakeup recently though. The song you reacted to the first time was with their original lineup. This is one of the first with their new lineup. Good stuff though nonetheless. The other album that they released this year is more acoustic though. Definitely very different and more emphasis on the folk instead of the metal. But it was still great.
Check out some of these bands: turmion kätilöt (disco metal), amaranthe (melodic Power metal with a pop twist), atreyu (awesome metalcore) or battle beast (Power metal with some 90's pop/disco wibes)
@Galactic You are by far the coolest Canadian that ever lived! I'm from Denmark myself, though, so ice hookey, skatin', and wearing sunglasses too often; shit doesn't really rhyme with me. With that said, you ... are... awesome.
When I saw Band-Maid live in Munich (Germany) a few days ago, Eluveitie was playing on another stage at the same venue. Bad timing! If Eluveitie would've played a day later, I could've gone see them.
I know this group since the lead vocalist was Anna Murphy, now with Cellar Darling and other participation in other bands and solo singles. They now are heavier and very good. I like Cellar Darling too, less instruments, only one vocalist but great lyrics and perfect sound. You could look for them too, maybe you like it.
Hey, i suggest you try Invader - Sons of a Dying Sun, it's a pretty small band from my country. I find the song quite enjoyable, the vocals remind me of At the gates. I hope you'll like it if you end up listening to it.

Behemoth maturing from the typical Polish Black Metal into a washed out hybrid between Death and Black... maturing. Meh.
not everyone is enlightened enough to receive their cvlt messages ;)
Darkey23 The Satanist is one of Behemoth's best works. Much more matured musically
