May I ask why you chose the Williams Alligator as a filter for this? I would understand if you used the width of it to filter for range/sideways market condition. But they way you did, does it actually do something more than e.g. just waiting for price to cross VWAP again? Would really love it if you could expand your thought process here.
Anyways like I commented in the last video, still love the idea to get into the pullback at a "verified" good price and will definitively backtest it with the caveats you mentioned! Thanks

Thats a tough one to answer without actually doing a bunch of testing. It depends how accurate the volume data is on the exchange you use as well. VWAP might be inaccurate on some exchanges I'm not sure.
@@tradepro I tested it 10 time on Binance 2 different coins , bad results Vwap wasn't accurate as you said .

VERY newb question here. I'm just getting started with FOREX. Downloaded tradingview, and all set up with indicators etc.. but when I right click to place a trade, setting risk/reward, I'm told I have to log in to my broker account to begin trading. Do I need a broker account to backtest? Or am I missing something?

Does vwap work if you btrade forex? Nothing happens in my broker if I add that indicator and trade forex .

I haven't a clue about the VWAP indicator but it would probably be way better to just find an ema that decently follows price so that you're not having huge spikes giving off false signals

Not sure. Possibly using the Heikan Ashi and waiting for no shadows would make better entries as well?

can you link your vwap indicator. I cant find the same one on tradingview, the one on tradingview look very different!
Im looking for the same thing, the built in VWAP on tradingview seems to be the most accurate if you remove the green outer bands but im not sure if the inputs are the same as the one he used

I thought you couldn't use VWAP on forex? It is not a centralized exchange so where is the volume measured from?
good question
It depends on the broker. Some forex exchanges don't report volume but if you have a huge exchange like Oanda that does report the volume the VWAP will work just fine.

What i dont understand is that you have strategies with 60% - 80% gain on account within 6 months and say that its hard to be profitable ^^. Ok there are no fees includet ... and the mindset needs to be right but this seems so easy ^^

It is that easy! I know that's controversial, but it's logical. I personally have a mentor who's net worth is close to a billion dollars (yes a billion with a B) and one of the things he told me is " if you want to do something, and everyone seems to say it's impossible just ignore them and look for that one person who says it can be done and ask them how. You don't have to follow it unless it makes sense to you " it's that simple.
I would say go for it my friend, test out the strategy on a demo account and put in the work.
Trade Pro had some amazing strategies to test out for yourself and see what resonates with you.
BTW my mentor that I was referring too is also swiss, greeting to you as well :)

No its definitely not EASY, these strategies are fairly SIMPLE but you still need to take a lot of time on your own to test the strategies to make sure the results are the same because your trading technique and style will be different than his, no matter how simple a strategy is. Ive tested a few of his example strategies myself and found that they dont always work correctly when trading live.

To be fair Ross did actually turn his $580 into 1 mil and has it all documented so it wasn't very fair or good judgement to use his pic in the scam video
@@jackgranger6539 Even if he did, not a single soul will ever repeat it so it is extremely deceiving and not good judgement to sell courses with that claim where poor people who can not afford it will buy the $5000 course thinking they will get rich with his secret $580 to $1 million strategy. Don't forget he also has a huge advantage in the markets with a massive group to help pump the stocks he trades. So perhaps I wasn't fair and he also isn't fair but at least I don't take advantage of poor people who want to get rich quick.
@@tradepro I agree with you on the price tag. I do give him credit for being transparent with his trade recaps every day though which you dont see much of in this space. And I've watched vids of him talking about the risks he took and high leverage he used at the beginning to make it happen and of course some luck so he's transparent about that too. I just would have put the tool in your worst tested strategy (or any of his friends) as the thumbnail 😅. All love and appreciate your vids man.

I have an awesome one you can test, i tested on all majors for 4 months on 20m tf trading only 7am to 7m for signals and got about 52% win rate and a 60%ish gain on account. only 2 red weeks which was max 2%

@@Jxiensjjabxke 20 day ema for trend direction. 20 TMA SSL from the SSL Hybrid indicator (everything else turned off) and normal MACD with signal line turned off. Entry is when macd crosses 0 at the same time the SSL flips. Stop goes 1 ATR from the flipped candles open. 2:1 ratio. I just set an alert on macd cross and go about my day. Also I only take the long pauses under or over the macd, no quick crosses I.e 4 candles worth and if 20 day ema is through the price wait for it to start trending again.

To be honest it was an accident that I only noticed after doing the 100 tests so just ran with it haha. I meant to do 5 min.
@@tradepro Maybe that is the reason behind the second peak issue hitting SL. Well I'm now in on a 3Min Trade in FTMO in XAUUSD lol Hope it Goes Well. I wish this would work. It is a simple strategy and very exact. The one with engulfing indicators didn't work for me. I'll later try the Highest Profiting one too. Thanks

Hi TraderPro, can You pls be the first one who test strategies within certain hours, sessions, for instance london+newyork session. The trick is that spread during Asia session are huuuuge + no one is going to trade 24h a Day, So this makes no sense, and gives no-reliable results. Although i know that people in different time zones may actually trade at Asia session, lets face it its London and new york session to determine moves. So pls consider doing this tests like you would simulate a human person trading 8am to 8pm evening, else this whole thing is useless and gives only an idea of how ea robot would trade around the clock!!
I can certainly do a test like that. I actually have it on the list of tests to show and think it is a good idea
