Bro i backtested this strategy on the 5 min for the past 2 months and this strat is OP. I thought VWAP was great but let me tell you this indicator is overpowered. VWAP is still my go to indicator with MACD but I'm using this now and my returns have nearly doubled. I only wish it could really predict when price is going back to the Moving average so i could double down on that returning candlestick. Also to anyone who may see this, one thing i noticed is when using this indicator never enter a trade when you see market is consolidating. Always check the higher timeframes to see if you are at a major support or resistance then enter your trade when the MA crosses and the market starts moving through or from the support line. Remember, when market is consolidating always wait on the MA crossover never predict the market will cross it and get stopped out. Best of luck my fellow traders.

Hi man, what do you use to backtesting it? I mean, do you do it manually or do you use some program or site to script the system and then test it? I ask because I am looking for that even if I am forced to learn some programation language tho.

The problem I'm having with backtesting is when the take profit and stop losses get huge at the end of an uptrend, when there's a big gap between the entry price and the EMA. Then it sometimes it takes like a month for the price to hit the take profit or stop loss because it's so wide.

I've tried to back-test it myself on other crypto pairs, due to the frustration I had when trading with this strategy. The win rate is really close to what it shown in the video, I got an average of 49.32% WR and an average of 13.27% GoA in the span of 4 days of timestamp, accounting the time to sleep and eat, so the total hours spent per 1 day of trading is around 12-13 hours. Still an amazing result. Realistically speaking, it would take about 5-6 days to reach about 25% ROI, or 1 month to double your initial capital. That's some effective strats right there!

Thank you for your amazing content, you are really amazing! One suggestion: i saw that you're classifying this strategy as average, however if you equalize the return on account over time, i believe this one is one of the best if not the best.
Therefore i would add to the table also a normalization of the results together with the time needed, in order to get a better look at them. (A 100% growth on account over 5 years is worse than a 1% growth over one day, that's my idea)
This is an amazing strategy. I've been following your channel for a month or so, but I've yet to test anything or go live trading as I've only been trading for about a month now. I do have far more confidence though when the time comes, thanks to your channel.

Thank you for the work you do for the trading community. One suggestion on the spreadsheet with the results, it would be nice to have each strategy result linked to the corresponding video. It will probably increase the number of views on them as well.
I learned my lesson getting stopped by rogue wicks so many times on the 1 minute. Its rough.

I tried this strategy in my demo acc. This is a very comfortable strategy and really works. Because you can place that stoploss in the 50 ema and 100 is the signal for the dont trade

So for adapting this strategy to a higher timeframe, would you keep the EMA length or transform them accordingly?
E.g. on 5min, would the EMA still be 20,50,100 or 4,10,20 (=X/(5min/1min))

Currently, my favorite trading channel. Just curious as to why you didn't use the Alligator instead of 3 separate EMAs. It's great to see someone putting out strategies that could be used as a foundation for a long-term, profitable approach (if one is willing to put in the work). The vast majority of forex strategy videos are not worthwhile (to say the least).

@@akshaynarasimaiah8597 if you want to trade this strategy I’d recommend using Bybit and placing limit orders. You actually get a small rebate when you place limit orders and you essentially will be paying no fees if you win 50 trades and lose 50 trades. Trade pro has released a recent video on how to trade on Bybit so I highly suggest you go and give that a watch mate

If u don't want loss in this strategy u can also do that means 90+ success rate if u decrease the return rate as per the situation.. And minimize the stop loss.. U don't have to wait only for particular return ratio... Means instead of 1:1/5..
U can take 1:1 also to minimize the loss... I know it is about fixed rr... But yeah

thank you for the results. i believe it is best to test in 1 min time frame because these are supposed to be "scalping" strategy and we can always have the option to jump over higher time frames for 'better' setups.

Great video. I'm new to Webull and trading in general, I cannot locate the Williams fractal indicator. Is there another name for it? Thank you for your great videos and thank you for all your help.
Backtesting results of this strategy (100 trades with 1.5 : 1 RR)... EURUSD 15m time frame =40%, GBPUSD 5 m time frame = 43%... My opinion is that this strategy does not worth. Very low win rate, many entries with no reason, massive losses in a row. No luck with this. It needs strong trend to reach the results in the video and maybe these 3 days in 1 minute tf doesn't reflect the actual results of the strategy.
i macd,stoch,rsi,ichimoku-not tat promising-BUT this one instantly did its job....very reliably accurate too....works well on M15....tqvm

Trend following using pullbacks to enter. Very simple but great to have rules to do this. I'll be looking at this on H1 (along with some of your other systems) checking stop loss variants and MFE. My aim is to trade the H1 timeframe for 6 hours a day, five days a week over say a dozen instruments or more. Sure M1 might be quicker but it is stressful and has major spread and entry issues.

This one.. can you do one where you use a divergent and or maybe a alligator to get an early entry on the start of a trend then this combination of fractal and ema pull back.. move stops to BE and leave runners for the whole day or even week.. and also take every signal.. and avoid the ranging ones where you get three or four while it's moving sideways..
On a 100k or more account with a 1% risk...

Quick question: What if the candle indicated by a Fractal is of the opposite type? A green appears and the candle after that is red, for example? Do we trade it anyway and enter at the close?

Hi, I am quite new on trading, but I have seen in other channels that Willian fractals are lagging indicator and some times the signal appears after some candles, so it is not possible to enter on time.
Is this true? Is it possible to use it in a real trading and not only in back test?
4:30 why we dont enter? we could use this signaal and get a better RR if we use the old ss and setup the budget or isnt it smart bc we could lose both?

I backtested it programmatically on a 1 hour timeframe. Gave a pretty good win-rate (RR 1:1.5) and about 500 signals in 3 years (2018-2020 in EUR/USD). I would love to see how you would go about improving some of these strategies. Filtering out bad trades and so on. I gave the Stoplossess a little bit more breathing room with 1xATR .

Just an idea; can someone trade using exchange fees which are much lower than forex fees and spreads, like in binance(using leverage)

Cool video. One way to alleviate the fees is to choose crypto coins that have higher volatility, like the moves are 1-2% average every 14 candles (default ATR), with good volume. But always always always backtest on the coin first before proceeding.

With some smoothing out of clearly bad signals and a profit protection strategy where SL moves up with gain. Your win rate in % depends on how quickly you move SL to breakeven and even small profit. I bet a good trader could get this to 75 or maybe 80% winners. just not all at full TP.
