Folk saying the Hayes competes w guns more expendy like Atlas etc. idk and feelsie like they're all similar after some point. infinity kind of next level artsy tho.

The Vanta 9 is like a Rolls Royce. Not sure if they now offer porting options, but you can ask Logan when reaching out to them. I was only offered trigger weight and my preferred optic plate. All in all, you won't be disappointed.
@@nickreyes6323the Hayes custom is the 100% the Rolls-Royce, the Vanta 9 is very nice but nowhere near in the ballpark of the Hayes. In fact the price of the Hayes starts where the Vanta 9 leaves off,,, I don't think you could compare much to the Hayes, other than infinity and a few other custom guns ✌️
@@DaveandDebe I don't recall dismissing Hayes Custom in my previous thread. With that said, I'll have to seriously look at ordering one based on your gospel my friend. ✌️

they could skip the coozy, and the lighter , and toss in a 2nd magazine. great guns, but life is too short to pay for junk you dont need or want.

Hey do u think the dlc finish vs the chrome version of the same gun would have smoother action? I like the way the Grey looks but not enough that I'd sacrifice smoothness or durability.

I thought RMR and SRO have the same footprint...am i wrong?
So they do but with the plates the SRO can not fit on the RMR plate since it has irons in front. The SRO plate does not have the irons its cut down in the front.
I really don’t understand why u don’t see a ton of Hayes guns on reviews no joke every review I’ve saw they all said one of the top out there or should be more money for what u get
It's one guy making everything so takes little longer to get stuff out there. But yes they are some of the best made guns I have ever handled.

what gun platform is that built off of? is it a prodigy or RIA base?
This is a hand built one done by Ben Hayes of Hayes custom guns.
When you are testing the trigger weight try setting the gun in the mag stand and then holding the stand down with one hand so it diesnt move and pull the trigger with the scale then, it looks as though when you were trying in the video that you were pulling the gun away from the trigger scale while also pulling the trigger scale the other way which gives you a heavier reading!
i dont think you quite understand how a spring scale works.
@@leftyo9589 if you are pulling the gun one way, the scale the other, and the trigger breaks and your still oulling a little bit when the trigger reaches the end of its length of travel, your going to get a heavier reading. Or am I unaware of some new trigger physics? With the firearm in a steady position unable to move in any direction and you operate the scale like that then there is less room for error

Done by a buddy of mine and around 40 just depends on what you get.

Yeah I agree but more and more shops doing that since cost is going up in everything and trying to keep cost down.
