- The antenna is ALA1530s+
This is a receiver I bought when I went to America for work 40 to 50 years ago. It sat in a storage room for a long time after I brought it back to Japan, but I turned it on for the first time in a while to check its operation. The packaging box was full of dust, but I was relieved that the contents were almost new. It works fine and the sound is good.
Nice radio, I’ve just had one given to me as a gift.
I've just bought one 👍 have to wait for it to arrive
I was looking for one of these and found an R-2000 for sale. It’s awesome!
Very nice ! 😀 Did you use external speaker ?
I have two that were gifted to me arriving today 22/03/24
Hey Radio radio, do you receive these stations on your radio during daytime or night time! I have a Sangean ATS 909X2 Shortwave receiver but i cannot find any radio stations! The most radio broadcasts i can listen to is during sunset! Thanks for sharing!
Please tested icom ic r7100 🙏
I paid $400 australian for mine. Came with both manuals but no handle
I just picked one up locally. Would a "random wire antenna" work? Thanks!
I'm glad that you watched the video.
I also use a random wire antenna and it works very well.
Finding a location where you can receive good radio waves is like a treasure hunt and can be difficult, but it's also quite interesting.
@@May_happiness_come_to_you_777 Is there an ideal length wire? I've never made one. As I understand you bring it outside with coax, then solder the coax conductor to the 18 awg or so random wire? PL-259 to the back of the radio? Or just run random wire to one of the push connections on the back of the radio? Thanks
If you have coaxial cable, you can also make a simple loop antenna.
In this case, create a loop with approximately 8 feet of coaxial cable and solder the end core wire to the coaxial cable shield. If you search, you will find many production examples. Although it is a very simple loop antenna, it has strong directivity and is excellent for searching for the target signal source.
If you are using a wire antenna instead of a coaxial cable, simply connect the wire to the R-1000's high-impedance antenna terminal, but the longer and higher the antenna, the higher the gain.
At the same time, there will be more noise, so you need to adjust the ground wire to suppress the noise. (Bury it in the ground, or float it without burying it)
The simpler the antenna, the more influenced by the installation location, so there is no definitive answer.
Radio FM?
No, am only
Hello, please your Antenna?
I'm glad that you watched the video.
The antenna I use for shooting is ALA1530S+, but the antenna I usually use as the main antenna is an inverted L-shaped wire antenna.
There are various other antennas, but I use them depending on the conditions at the time.
You can easily make your own antenna, so it's fun to adjust it while checking the balance with the ground.
1,000 thanks for reply, your antenna plays very well...I hope to watch more videos of him.
