I went ecs valved resonated catback. Sounds amazing for my little residential neighbor hood. Houses by me are really close to one another in the morning you can hear the cars bass booming through the house and its stock cat, valved resonated. I love the exhaust gives the car an oem + sound. Not too loud at all. Love the sound and fart sounds in shifts
I have the APR Catback resonated on my MK7 Golf R. The car sounds amazing better then the ECS IMO. I see APR just came out with new catback for the MK8 Golf R. Mite want to check it out.
I went with the AWE Track Exhaust... stock DP... it's LOUD AF... little droney from 3-4.2K RPM... it sounds amazing though. I may go with a valved exhaust later... X-Force... but for now I'm enjoying annoying my neighbors.
@@du3lcitiz3nwrong. Just the opposite. Stock catback flows fine, the downpipe opens the car up. Catback on these cars add no power. However a dp and a tune will add over 100 hp

Best setups on these cars are stock cat back with a upgraded downpipe. Cat back cost 1500 and adds no power.
Naah.
You don't even need a downpipe for stage 2 if you go with EQT.
Would you recommend to go with resonated if you plan on getting a aftermarket downpipe in the future?
there is no need for a DP on these cars... save your money...
Resonated if your going DP...unless you are a tinkerer and want to add a resonator of your choice.

It is dyno proven catback DOES free up some hp.
