If you go back and rewatch the series, Lucifer's wings and devil face change depending on how he feels about himself. The worse he feels about himself, the worse his devil face appears. The better he feels about himself, the faster his wings grow back. 😆
Sorry, spoiler: The WB was cheap and kept low bidding contract for makeup and cgi on a yearly basis. Different companies, different faces. Lucifer cut his wings so they would not have to be shown. Prices dropped for the third season, so more wings came back and the crappy rubber mask was replaced.

This episode is one of the best of the series - soooo good. Chloe’s shock finding out. I always get chills. It’s amazing now how obvious this is - this whole show is about self-actualization. Some great messages with that, I think. Knowing that you’ve watched the next season, I am amused by your assumption about how Chloe will start out feeling about Lucifer being the Devil lol
That ending, from the moment the wings came out to her realization is among my favourite moments of awesome in any movie or series. It's such a huge emotional payoff after 3 seasons of building up to it. Every time I'm grinning with tears in my eyes. Also, Maze!
Maze felt very hurt early on this season and became kind of annoying when partnering with Pierce, but she had a great redemption story when she thought Linda was in danger. Love Maze and I felt for her, even when she was joining Pierce's shenanigans.
I believe the writers wrote this "finale" as a big middle finger to the network for cancelling the show. It worked, because fan outrage was so great, Netflix came to the rescue . . .
Finally. Good riddance Pierce. 🎉 I love Maze’s relationships with other characters especially with Linda and Trixie. She’s a very loving demon deep, deep down.

Apparently there was a part that got cut out when Lucifer told Cain as he (Cain) was dying that you're a monster who belongs in hell for all the crimes he's done and Cain said to Lucifer Well I did thousands if not millions of crimes for millennia and you saying I'm a monster well I'm looking at one yeah you're monster who who likes to punish the bad guys and well you're punishing me a guy who has killed people but little do you know I actually am human and since I'm dying I became human the second you stabbed me and since I'm going to hell I will just walk right through the gates and I'm in heaven and guess what there is not a single thing you or anyone else can do about it..Believe it or not Tom Welling asked them to cut that part of the scene because he didn't think he was doing a great job for his character for that particular scene even though the production team including Tom Ellis and Lauren German said that he nailed the scene with perfection..
One of my favorite episodes and Pierce is the character I hate the most in this series he is worse than Malcolm and his death was satisfactory Sorry Smallville.
