@@SwiftSlots Thoroughly deserved Rob, the intricacy of the work and the quality of your final results are amazing. Any idea when you will upload part 3?
Rob you remind me of my grandfather, he was a lot like you. He was self-taught as a machinist and welder as his father died while he was in 7 grade and he had to find work to help keep things going. Great work on the car!!
Yes, both the 'people' in my life masquerading as my 'father' taught me nothing. What little I know is self taught. The net was not about most of the time I was acquiring my abilities. So people say "well it's OK for you, you have the tools", but when they were down the pub and puking up kebabs in the gutter in the evenings, I was buying tools and learning how to use them in my shed. I guess some people want different things out of life. Thanks 🙂
In a way I really want to hate you for making me want for more tools. Have been actively looking for a hobby size lathe but haven’t found one yet. I used to be quite satisfied with store bought cars and now I want better. Thanks for posting and waiting for part 3. 👍
i have actually held this very car in my hands, it feels amazing ! my hands started shaking though so i had to give it back, amazing stuff! i have renamed rob dr slot!
Iv bought around 30/40meters of old scalextrix track about 3 years ago, the man cave is cleared so I’m going to build a track I build Star Trek 1/350 scale models and seeing your builds has made me want to try this Iv giving RC buggy racing up as it’s just getting to expensive now so other than been a golfing fanatic this hobby ticks all the boxes I’m just starting on with a mk1 golf 1/24th revell model and I’m going to attempt the chassis to fit the body over This 2 videos have been excellent to watch
Goodness gracious! Fantastic work. If only I’d waited longer to watch this so I wouldn’t now have to wait longer for the next video!!!
LOL, 🙂
I love the series on the Stratos!
That's great to hear, another Tamiya coming soon.
Rob I’m so looking forward to part 3. Next level, World Class!
Thank you 🙂

As we say in Holland: 'That's not normal!' Is the house next to you by any chance for sale?
