- Hello everyone and welcome to another video! Not a bad flight with a nice touch of getting my first split scimitar Ryanair B737! Decently quick flight making up the lost 15-20 minutes in Dublin. These B737s are much younger as these got transferred from mainline Ryanair to the subsidaries, such as Buzz and Malta Air. Many of those transferred were from the EI-F** and EI-G** registrations, which were from around 2016/7 and so forth (correct me if I'm wrong), for example this is ex-Ryanair EI-GDH and it's only 6 years old! The split scimitars began being implemented as a 200 million euro project by Ryanair which is meant to retrofit many Boeing 737-800s. This began with EI-DLY (I think) and is meant to save Ryanair 60 million euro a year on fuel, so enjoy!

Thanks! Nice, trip report?
@@Dublinplanespotter99 nah but I filmed take off and landing
@Dublinplanespotter99 shall I try do trip report for my next flight in few days?
@@pellertransportguy Ah alr, you gonna upload it? Ye sure it's a great experience and as you do it more often you get better at it, like looking back who's watching a huge 30 minute video full? 😂 Like I started making trip reports near 20 minutes long, but now that's gone down to less than 10 minutes. I'd say that to get a decently comprehensive trip report 10 minutes is a nice starter. Then of course if people want detail they will watch the long 20-30 minute video. Also it's good to have the taxi, takeoff and landing not too long as if you don't speed up or cut it or play music and you record 5 minutes after takeoff, it might bore the audience. Plus, if you just leave the vital bits of takeoff and landing, you can upload a seperate video of a full taxi and takeoff or landing and taxi, which caters to people who just want the trip report and people who want a nice takeoff/landing video! :)
