I just got the gen 4 it almost feels like it has dives in power when put to the test I’ve used the gen 3 for months leading up to getting the 4th gen and honestly haven’t even ran into a situation with auto stop even being used yet lol but everyone on my job site with the third gen says mines better I disagree
@@MasteringMayhem so you pitted two drills with different battery's and expect this video to ba a valid comparison? You need to look into battery output and it's effect on outputs from electric motors
I like Bosch Rotary Hammers both SDS PLUS and SDS Max and their regular drills more than any other brand. The rotary Hammers are German made unlike most other brands, introduced anti Kickback much earlier and their new PROFACTOR tools are unmatched among 18V tools. Their build quality in general is second to none. And they've been gone on many deals lately with free batteries and chargers. Way underrated on many channels but they get the job done
As a Master electrician who's father was a general contractor and grandfather a building inspector. There's simply no choice. Milwaukee/ Ingersoll-Rand has been a trusted name in power tools for three generations. Sure it may lose some test here and there. The question is will that tool take being used daily for the next 10 years?
When you talk about generations. Milwaukee has been going through a lot of changes when it comes to production facilities. It's not what it was back in the days.
I’m already in Milwaukee platform batteries are too expensive to start switching now. I own the Gen3 and wanted to upgrade to gen4 based on the test I’ve seen it’s not worth the money switching.
Bosch stuff is pretty good but they don't really cater to the homeowner/prosumer demographic, that doesn't make me a team red guy though I think Milwaukee is overrated. I used to work for a hardware store that could send out tools for repair and it was almost always the red tools, occasionally a dewalt
Less compact for sure but no proplem of heat ménagement witch mean that it will last longer.2 layer(ring ) for the torque settings and functions settings.
I own the Bosch, and on my vacation in Florida I picked up the milwaukee gen 4 drill and impact combo set. I have the freak impact from Bosch but I am looking forward to using the milwaukee set! team bosch and milwaukee for me
I have Bosch bull dog which is an amazing tool for its price point. I also have the Bosch jack hammer which has served me very well over the last 5 years. Burnt my first bulldog out after using it for 10 years. I have had better luck with the cordless Milwaukee drills and just feel that the m18 fuel series is a much more versatile product line at a really reasonable price point. Most of my tools are nearly free when factoring in the cost of stand alone batteries.
why? If you want a heavy duty drill the Bosch is the better choise. The Milwaukee is more an allrounder. I also own both and in build quality the Bosch makes the Milwaukee looks like a fisher price toy.
Comparing brand countrys its Robert Bosch GmbH vs TTI Germany vs China If its about producer country its Malaysia vs China The interesting aspect is while Drivers are made in Malaysia, Gründers and Rotary Hammers are Made in Germany. But still Milwaukee is a chinese company
The gen 3 Milwaukee actually beat the gen 4 in a torque test.
Was about to type the same thing
In "one"

I have them both under load the gen 4 outperformed the gen three.
@@steffendetrick9403 I should have specified that I saw it on one channel.
It was a torque test. Maybe in a different scenario, the gen4 is better.
That Bosh seems to be a strong drill
It’s a beast. Stay tuned for a more in depth comparison and testing,
Strongest drill in the world they say

Test it against a flex as I am considering both because of the anti kickback. Thanks
Bosch Bi-Turbo
I’m leaning to the Bi-Turbo more and more as I work with it 🙂
Bosch is the best company to manufacture drills, but Milwaukee is better at making impact gun
Bosch make good impacts too, milwaukee just has more range

Probably not, no
When you talk about generations. Milwaukee has been going through a lot of changes when it comes to production facilities. It's not what it was back in the days.
Can you make a VS video Kobalt XTR vs Metabo Hpt or new Bosch
Either is a PRO choice! I own Bosch and Makita and I'd be just as happy with Milwaukee.
It's better than a hand drill
I’m already in Milwaukee platform batteries are too expensive to start switching now. I own the Gen3 and wanted to upgrade to gen4 based on the test I’ve seen it’s not worth the money switching.

Theyre both killer tools and any tradesmen would be happy with either. The question comes down to person ergonomics and color ot seems.
Got Bosch drills and definitely no complaints, not used Milwaukee.
How's the weight though the Bosch looks a lot chunkier
Milwaukee with 12Ah is 7lbs 3.6oz the BOSCH with 8Ah is 6lbs. 14oz
Less compact for sure but no proplem of heat ménagement witch mean that it will last longer.2 layer(ring ) for the torque settings and functions settings.
Since the Milwaukee has a 12 amp hour battery they probably weight the same. I think the Bosch is a heavier drill though. I'd rather have the Bosch.
Bosch, and they have a 12ah Pro core battery now.
Bosch was faster and probably more smoother also
That Milwaukee battery though. Those barges keep growing and growing.
Bosch made that drill just to prove to Chinese Milwaukee that it can make a more powerful drill if they want to
Both are Chinese genius even it says it’s made elsewhere genius
@@motube2389 bosch is made in malaysia some of the internal parts made in germany and malaysia
Did either one get hot?
I thought you were going to tell me which one you liked better??

I use nothing but milwaukee at home and around the shop. Bosch for my daily job. Seem to endure more punishment and all that
I'm torn because, I want milwaukee, but already have bosch stuff, and they are great tools
The one that costs less
The one that doesn’t break
I have a Bosch 18v1330 with a pack of 12ah pro core batteries, and It is a monster

There are already enough Bi tools.
The flex drill is the best I’ve used. It’s a tank
Milwaukee definitely. Incredibly powerful in small size .
Bosch has a 12 amp biturbo battery aswell
The Milwaukee has a better warranty, but Bosch has a very good reputation for making great quality drills.
Bosch sure last at least 2 times miwuakis
Both are great powerfull drills but i prefer bosch
More Bosch
I have both and I prefer the bosch
Thank you
Bosch BI-TURBO can defeat Milwaukee.
Fanboy de Milwaukee, ponle la pila de 5 am que trae 😂
I would say that Milwaukee is losing their game on tools the Flex is stepping up to them.
Red one for sure, always... Cus this drills are ment to be in speed 1 not 2 🤷🤦
Red and black everything
The Hercules will beat both of them suckers
Still rather have the Milwaukee
why? If you want a heavy duty drill the Bosch is the better choise.
The Milwaukee is more an allrounder. I also own both and in build quality the Bosch makes the Milwaukee looks like a fisher price toy.
I like Bosch better in most anything
1st heads up I was surprised by for sure
Bosch was nice but I already in for 20k on Milwaukee.
Well a smart person would use speed 1. But no matter what this test is not going to have me buying that drill. Milwaukee for me.
Wow Bosch is like that!
That Bosch is massive and heavy though.
Not nearly as heavy as Flex.
Gen 3 already showed it's too small for its power. Overheating issues all over the place. Bosch keeps going and going.
Both are badass tools
Milwaukee I already have so many batteries
Bosch has 8 amps battery
Next time the drill bit for Bosch don’t put it on a crack wood 😊
Milwauk gen 4 is desapointing...this drill bosch hits the ride
Bosch bi turbo super chunky
Bosh
I'm used to Borsch being garbage. This is wierd
Milwaukee gen 4
El tipo es fan de Milwaukee. Y siempre va a hacer que gane Milwaukee jaja
Milwaukee all day
definitely bosch
Still taking milwakee
Milwaukee is better for me
Bosch everything 🥴
Match the batteries sizes in ah, not just volts. Otherwise your not doing your videos or the tools justice.
I’ll take the Milwaukee, got the job done and will do so for many years to come. Red never let down 🤙🏼
Fan boys are so cringe 😂
Flex tools
ملواكي اقوى وفضل بوش فاشل
no, actually the Bosch is the stronger drill
Would be a more realistic test if you went against the grain.
Milwaukee all day long
