Same with me! I was so disappointed by it too. I'm not sure if they are supposed to give a tour or if we are supposed to ask them for it, but I made it known multiple times that I was new and unfamiliar with how things work and the staff seemed less than willing to help. PF is a good value for the average person that just wants to lose weight and look slim and healthy. At least they aren't ripping people off. It's not the place to be if you're a serious bodybuilder or entering physique competitions, but what percent of gym users are?
I agree with your assessment. I am a bodybuilder, and was definitely unwelcomed at a PF lol no judgement zone indeed smh. I only went because it was the only facility next to my office a few years ago. That being said for the average workout individual it's ideal.

Mom and I joined & started Nov 2017. A few months later she was admitted to the hospital then admitted again. She was just given the all clear to return to working out yesterday!! I'm a member. I get why it's addicting. I have every ability to perform all these exercises at home. But, if I pay someone else to accommodate these exercises it somehow obligates me to go and do them. Like 20 minutes on a treadmill at a gym is more satisfying than walking around my block twice. I have my own free weights at home and most if not all exercises can be performed at home. But, if it makes you feel better going to a public place to do these thing helps you doing them, I understand.
It does the opposite for me. I’m a skinny dude though so I really just need to lift dumbbells at home and do body weight exercises to be fine. This just doesn’t seem worth it

Good vid. I just joined in another city at a new facility that opens in 10 days, so it was nice to get a tour of the general layout.
Thanks so much for this. I look forward to checking out your channel.
Nice video. That place is huge.
Wish I saw this when I first joined. I didn't get the complimentary tour. They just said have at it. For 10 bucks a month it can't be beat. Its rare that the no lunk alarm goes off. At first I had no idea what it even was. For the average person who just wants to get in shape and lose some weight its perfect. Your PF is huge, the one I go to is nice but about 1/3rd the size.
What's the no lunk alarm?
I'm in new South Wales Australia. I was driving home one afternoon and seen a planet fitness I had to stop an check it out it was the weirdest gym/fittness place I seen. It got a squat rack and a bench press witch was all right. I got a free training session and I have not even joined. It was OK training session. Your planet fitness rocks man.
Thanks for the tour and what not.
9:10 any exercise is better than no exercise 👀
This one is state of the art, the PF by me does not have 1/2 of what is here. We don't have balls or leg curl machines. Lots more that this gym has that we don't have
Im joining tomorrow.Good video. Will be yoked by next winter
I’m thinking of doing the $10.00 a month. I’m just so nervous and not sure what to expect. I’ve never been to a gym but I would love to try it.
Thank you for the awesome demo. 👍🏻
This PF is a lot bigger than the one by my house. Nice I wish I was around there.
I can tell you that Planet Fitness us a wonderful gym to belong to.I love my home OF gym here in Fresno,California. One complaint: they have a high employee turnover rate.I wonder why?
It's a great place to workout and cost is good per month you dont have to worry about being judged
Lupe Sanchez But most fit people in gyms are actually friendly. Its so stupid now days how people dont like Fit people.
Good price ...
Big huge space ....
So many machines .....
Great deal 4me
"these are good, i just dont use it." the whole video
Lol cutie
I liked your walk through video it was very helpful!!! But I had a question... Do you know what that body enhancement machine is used for?
Holy shit this PF is ENORMOUS! Mine is hamster crap compared to this one lmao there isn't an ab section at my PF, which is a shame because that's what I wanted to work on the most. There are a lot of cardio machines and things for your arms but not really much else :(
Looks like a standard Air Force military base gym... but purple
Thanks for the help
In the future I’m thinking about joining this gym.
Thanks for the vid 💯
Nice tour, thanks. I didn't know they had so many types of machines. Is this a larger than average PF?
This location is larger than some locations. Some other locations may be smaller but should still have most of the same equipment. Thank you for viewing!
Kerry K I’m trying to lose weight
This is for show, the real PF facilities aren't like this.
Ayee It all really depends on the building. The one I go to was a grocery store before, so it is quite big. Maybe it might be the ones on your area
I heard pf is a joke my friend is a trainer and he said he went to check it out and got to the front desk and told him he couldnt join cause he was to big
@@Grimr33fer that's discrimination and your friend could have rightfully made a complaint about it to the facility owner. Or possibly FCC/Consumer Complaints department.
mines that size.
@@Grimr33fer Im 100 percent sure youre friend is 100 percent full of shit. My location, which may be unique, has massive guys that frequent it.
Thank you for this video 😊
I love that gym! I'm thinking about going there. And don't forget your free pizzas every first Monday of the month!
😀
I joined a month ago and I haven't checked in once. I have anxiety issues plus ADHD Freeze.
Can I keep my membership if I just use it for the Tanning beds?
Great overview, thanks!
So black card members can bring a friend and the friend can use the work out equipment/tanning bed/ everything too?
I heard you can bring a friend for workout out but it doesn't give them access to the tanning/hydro massage, etc. Just the gym portion. Could be wrong though...
As a black card member, I take my husband as a guest, and he uses the hydro massage bed.
@@l.m.vonschenkenberg67 when u started how much did u pay in your first da
@@ricardoortega6799 I believe when I signed up, it was $20/month. I canceled my membership last spring due to covid. I don’t know how they’re surviving now. I don’t see many cars in the parking lot as I did prior to the pandemic. They might increase the price after all of this is done to recoup their losses. But who knows? 🤷🏼♀️
@@l.m.vonschenkenberg67 can I bring a friend with me tho?
Great video. Very helpful and nice to see your non judgemental attitude☺
Thanks for this tour, it will come in handy. I just joined Planet Fitness and don't really know what some of the machines are. Our planet fitness are set up about the same (mine was a grocery store before so it is quite large) so there are a lot of things that I don't know what they are.
Great fitness facilities. I really did not see anything they did not have. Anyone who could not get a good workout with all that is nit really trying. Hope one opens in my town soon.
they literally dont have anything
IMO the only downside to PF is the 60Lb Freeweight limit.
*75
At the 4:30 minute marker you can see that the fire exit is partially blocked by machines. There should not be anything in that area. Please relocate those machines for the safety of everyone.
I Was With 24 Hour Connection And They Have The Same Stuff,And They Charge 45$ Per Month.
And PF Is 10$ Per Month .Love It❤️❤️
Cool 😎 thanks for sharing, considering membership!
14:35 🐎 Get that guy some new running 🏃 💨 shoes 👟 👟 🤣
This is really good for just casual gym goers. I know people complain about the rules, but it's honestly not that bad for what it is
I thought it wasn’t 24/7.. aren’t the weekend hours limited?
Great Job on the Video! Keep up the Great Work! 💯👍🏽
Do all locations have the variety of machines? I'm an OTR driver, thinking about joining
I got a pass the other day and Im excited to go!
"You'd be an idiot not to join", I thought this was a judgement free zone.
The dude running on the treadmill why did he not set off the alarm with all of the noise he was making?🤣🤣
Hi what a great gym,its wonderful👍👍👍👍👍
Elyazid Amira it's not a gym
How long has the Rochester club been open? La Crosse WI just opened in January. Started as a member, now I'm an employee. I love every aspect of it!
For $10 a month and people complaining I really can't understand. There are plenty of machines to work all parts of the body. You pay less than a dollar a day to used these equipments that they have to maintain plus pay the workers. I disgusts me the attitude of people over previleged. Alot of people who goes to the gym don't do the workout properly anyway so it's not the machines it's the users that's the problem. I'm going to join even though I've never own a membership before. Please stop the complaining and humble yourselves.
Thanks for info. Just joined here in Cleveland. You may want to speak up in future videos when you’re not facing camera..can’t hear you well.
Planet Fitness is the most well-equipped gym on the planet... there shouldn't be any problem during rush hour!
