Lovely footage and very informative. we visited the port a few months before you shot this. The place was busy as 2 ships were in but lovely atmosphere all the same. Amazing island and lovely people
WOOT WOOT!! I’m Trelawny born and proud of it !!! Thanks for highlighting my home ! I always look forward to your aerial videos but I especially love this one!!! 🇯🇲
I visited Falmouth today and the driver only took us to some craft market and some back roads. I was truly disappointed because there was nothing there to see so we just asked to be taken back to our hotel. I left to wonder if the driver was only taking us to place of no interest so we that we could just get fed up in order for him to have a round trip instead if one . It cost us $100 from montego bay to Falmouth to see back roads with pot holes and dirt water running around.
@Monika Dunns I am very sadden to hear of your disappointment. I hope that this disappointment will be wiped away with a second tour full of wonderful memories.
Because the estuaries / mangrove been dumped, look at the sea in Falmouth, the thing that has being designed filter the water and protect small fish is gone, last time I was there, only fresh water and baby fish I saw on the beach. In most countries you go to prison if you catch those tiny fish or pay a huge fine. From a place that had an abundance of fish growing up as a youth. More attempts must be made to keep the port busy with multiple ship making calls everyday. Now that you have the facilities, do your job to market the slots. It's not just jewel to look at, but a tool to help you make money. What is the town / JTB doing to market these properties.
I am sorry to say that I can see even with all this beautiful development pollution in the air and in the water. Look at the difference in the water out at sea and the water near the docks or port? The fish that live in this water will be toxic to eat.
