Very Informative. We will be arriving in Falmouth end of November and wanted to just explore the Port and purchase Blue Mountain Coffee for friends back home.
We are planning to go around the same time. On my previously two visits to Ocho Rios I brought back Blue Mountain Coffee for co worker who loved coffee.
I conquered my fear of Horse 🐎 back riding with a very nice guide. He was very nice and helpful. I will never forget that experience. Sincerely Yours 🤠 Mr Severance, "World 🌎🌍 Cruiser"&"Succulent Collector", and"Teacup's & Saucer's Set's and Teapot's 🫖 Collector".
Very well put video but I do suggest to stay in tourist spot trust me. I went last year and wondered around the downtown by foot just right outside the port. Stay in the port its beutiful enough.. They have this restaurant offer delicious cocktail next to the pool
Great video! Thank you. Did you take any shore excursion here? And if you did, what was it and did you enjoy it? It looks like the cruise port area has lots of shopping and info about Jamaica.
My wife just came from there on our cruise around the Caribbean on MSC. We walked outside the gates. Let’s just saw. You notice the difference. We mostly ventured the shops and sat at the center of the courtyard and listened to the music.
Yeah, we went to Falmouth on the Disney Fantasy cruise, my mum hated it, and i didnt really like it either. We went to a waterpark and a zipline area, but it wasnt that good and the waterpark was poorly designed. Liked the food though, definitely recommend that.
Falmouth is my least favorite port thus far. There's not much to do without leaving the port. And I cant really recommend a self-guided walking tour beyond the port gate.
Don’t venture outside of fenced area on foot; unless you want to personally witness a poverty stricken town. With the perks of being offered drugs and girls. As of march 2023.
That's what we found in 2018. It's a bit sketchy & even though we were three adults we really didn't feel safe walking those streets. We ended up back at Margaritaville drowning our sorrows at the swim-up bar for most of the day.
Margaritaville is closed and every shop is over priced don't venture outside the gates, its dirt poor and locals hound you to buy worthless crap, and drugs stay on the boat or take a excursion
This is a really well put together video, very thorough and great explanation of this cruise port!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! Unfortunately I also found out Margaritaville was permanently closed down when researching online.
Well made and informative video!

We did not take an excursion. We only had the walking tour we mentioned, so we spent our time in the port area.
A friend of mine said the only thing to do in this port is to stay on the ship.😅

By taking the bus, how far is Dunn's river from Falmouth. How many time does it take to go there?
We haven't visited Dunn's River Falls, but Google Maps says it's about a 1-hour drive from the Port of Falmouth to the falls.
@@TheJellyBeans Alright, thank you very much.
