Australian Breakdancer 'Raygun' Hits Back At Her Online Trolls 👀

- Australian Olympic breakdancer Rachael Gunn, AKA Raygun, has been the butt of thousands of jokes following her routine at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
She has now broken her silence and said that you shouldn’t ‘be afraid to be different’ and to ‘represent yourself’.
Australia’s Olympic chief Anna Meares has also voiced her opinion and compared the criticism Raygun has received to abuse female athletes have historically faced.

It’s INSULTING TO WOMEN to say this is sexism. She was an embarrassment
True! We got competitors like Ami Uasa and Nicka Banevic getting fans all over the world. It's not sexist to say "hey, you're not talented." She got ZERO points for heaven sakes.
womp womp she literally done two types of a kangaroo dance
EXACTLY. As an Australian citizen this was just plain embarrassing and is a disgrace in representing Australia. She embarrassed her country and is soaking up all the attention for it. SEXISM DOESNT EVEN REMOTELY RELATE TO THIS STUPID DANCE.
❤❤thank you commenting this TRUE STATEMENT!! How dare she shed tears and say it’s sexism oh my GOSH How more embarrassing can the Australian women be !!?
An embarrassment to break dance.
Women weren’t disrespected. Breakdancing was. Australia was embarrassed.
They should be. That was so bad.

What if feels like to be a woman in Australia is pure EMBARRASSED 24/7 .. because woman don’t stand up for other woman ! and it’s just shameful cult leader like behaviour purring us all down. Instead of learning the art or being skilful and respecting something and becoming good at it all they want to do is take a big turd 💩 on everything and call it what it is and say it’s being “unique”
Australia passed as a fun silly place. Breakdancing was not featured in her performance. Pure 🧌 trolling. It's like a gymnast showing up at a boxing match.
Unreal that she made a mockery of an art form and then calls people trolls that did not put up with it.
Pulling the fucking sexism card in this situation is insane 🤦

Saying this is sexism is so lazy and disrespectful to all of the incredible Female Olympians who EARNED their places and Gold medals through actual Vetting. This is an embarrassment to Australia. She should never have been allowed to compete.
Real sports have ways of determining who gets to be there , apparently dance is so subjective a girl everyone agrees sucks terribly , is at the Olympics , I don’t get it at all . And half the Australians online I see are defending her like she’s 5 years old , saying she tried hard and is brave lol , she went to an adult athletic competition of the best of the best and thought trying hard means anything .
@@slamminsammy941she was at the Olympics not because the dance is subjective, but because Australian judges were friends with her and her husband was also judging. On top of that, the breakdance organization wasn't supporting the Olympic games. It's just a case of corruption. Plain and simple.

Her husband
Can you imagine what their foreplay routine is before coitus, it must be so musical lol
I say all the time not one person in her inner circle had the balls to tell her don’t do it
Why not both?
@@Corporate101-mk6ib ever worked in actuarial? Basically same thing.
Don't Quit Your Day Job, Rachel.
She's a teacher! By all means she needs to quit her day job! This woman is stupid to teach anybody anything!
Her day job is teaching students about breakdancing...
@@ScionStorm1
Oh, God! NO!
@@jasonriddle7041🤣🤣🤣
"sexist" not one other was critisized because there dacnes did not suck???
It wasn’t even sexism it was just bad bro what is she yapping about - if a black person loses - it’s not racism. If a women loses some how it’s sexism bro what is wrong with the world
Back in the days, Raygun will be called a poser.
RayBUm, and get chase
Sexism? The other women were amazing! Raygun was shit! That's not sexism thats the truth!
The break dancer she lost to went viral for being way better than her
Oh Australia Olympic Chief, this isn’t even Raygun’s fault, it’s yours. It’s the Olympics, the best of the best in the WORLD. What were you guys thinking, absolutely threw this poor girl to the wolves.
Exactly. She is an amateur and an academic. If she’s just throwing it at a home party, her friends would enjoy it. Olympics was meant to be for the best, how was she selected to represent Aussie is a mystery. To be frank, I don’t think break dance should be in the Olympics in the first place. It is a street culture and it should remain as such. The moment it becomes an official event the moment it dies.
Sexism? Anyone would be getting made fun of for dancing like that, especially at the Olympics. Personally I blame whoever let her go out there without seeing her routine first.
What's worse is if they saw her routine and told her it was good...... -_-
There was no routine. It was a freestyling competition - no competitors were allowed to know the music selections.
@@MyNameHere101 it doesn't matter, she still sucks
@@MyNameHere101 she would still have to practice for it. Freestylers have specific tricks they intend to work in and transitions to practice. Someone at some point should’ve seen that and told her maybe she wasn’t ready.
Just because people are criticizing her dance moves doesn’t mean they’re sexist.
no. it just means that they're boring and keep their brain in a little box.
@@aliasWasWhat a joke.
You saying those were breakdance moves...not where l come from maybe she was attempting a whole new dance with those moves.
This woman is an embarrassed to all Australians and the Olympics, she should never have been sent to the Olympic games 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮
It is always sexism isnt it, for women its never that they don‘t have skill it is just sexism
Didn't at least one person tell her she was doing it wrong before she went to the Olympics? How can something like this happen in a professional field. Disgusting.
She was never told "no".
Entitlement is helluva drug...
@@dojoge In fairness, I think this specific situation has gone WAYYYYYYY deeper than simply chalking it up to "entitlement". Can't just assume entitlement is what got her the position when in reality it sounds like it was more tantamount to fraud 🤣
@@Mr_Jish I agree with you. However, all I have to go by are the two interviews I've seen. And since I personally have not seen any verifiable evidence that an actual crime has been committed, I can only surmise that she felt like she had the right to participate (entitlement) on a level that was way above her actual talent and skills. Now, if it's true that her husband was on the selection committee, then definitely it was fraud...😂
the fuck you mean "doing it wrong"? it's a dance lol. a form of art and self-expression. the problem is people try to point everything in terms of physical difficulty and that's it
Being Absolutely Terrible, has NOTHING TO DO WITH SEXISM. As a competition host, dancer, organizer, and supporter of the Dance Culture since the 80's as a child, These "Chiefs" should do an Exhibition to be qualified to be Judges, or whatever she wants to call it. I know a lit of BGirls, Dancers, that would wipe the floor with this lady and her comment, and show her it is pure talent and skill and aren't phased by comments...because they are good enough to call out anyone and make them eat their words on the dance floor. 🤷🏾♂️
I was a b-girl 40 yrs ago growing up in NY. I'm 56 yrs old and can still wipe the floor with her a$s. It was HORRIBLE and disrespectful.
She took the opportunity from a hard working, talented and passionate women! She should be ashamed
The only one trolling her is herself
