Bgirls actually very less are there who do powermoves and very less from Australias, so they go into abstract zone, being cocky, rubbing the floor and create illusion as if its a difficult step, but thats only to fool non dancers, a bboy or bgirl and definitely the judges can see through that cloak, what should have been done an Asian migrated would had to be sent and the Australian ego would get hurt hence the Australia became a laughing stock for the world.

At 3:38 the person speaking is Crazy Legs. Crazy legs is one of the founders of breaking one of the original break dancers from the Bronx. He invented the move known as the windmill. Many of the moves done now were invented by him. I used to watch him dance in the early 80 with Rock Steady Crew. He is the authority on breaking. The worst thing about Raygun is she’s never on beat. She’s never on the one.

She doesn’t actually “dance.” Dancing is supposed to have some kind of rhythm to it. There’s usually certain recognizable poses and pauses in it, like the girl does. After all, it’s done to music. Raygun just squirms around twisting her body around in certain ways. She doesn’t have any musicality in her movements, even though she supposedly studied ballroom dancing too. Some people just naturally move to music. She isn’t one of them.

There is no one to bribe there. And he started it himself in his home many years ago, and it grew from there. If it is his UFC Commentary, he is a Martial Arts expert, and I believe a former Taekwondo Champion. Have you ever seen him train and fight. Also, he is a stand-up comedian and has been doing it for a long time successfully. And he has acted in sitcoms in the past, like the successful 1995 NewsRadio where he played Joe the Maintenance man, and he hosted the show successful Fear Factor.
You must really not like Joe Rogan to use him in your comment. What did he do or say that makes you hate him so much? Is it his objection to Trans women in female sport, or his refusal to take the Covid vaccine? Are you jealous of the success he has carved from life?
He was not born in luxury or among Hollywood elite or celebrities. His Parents divorced young, and his mum married a hippie. Grew up in Boston. SO, any connections he had, he made himself, and making it big in the entertainment business is not easy, when you have no relatives in it, especially in the USA. B-Dancing in Australia is not very popular and huge in numbers or even mainstream.

I'm an actual breakdancer, from Adelaide,I danced in the 80s when things were real. Saturday arvos in Rundle Mall, corner of Myers on the parquetry. If you were there you know.
This whole 'Shitegun' thing broke me. I was down in Sydney before the Olympics and shot video with dancers near the expo center. Hands down every single dancer there would have been better than her. I have no idea how this happened. Just a total embarrassment for our country.

People need to stop calling her delusional. This was all very calculated and deliberate. She also gamed the Au tax system by making her journey to the olympics part of her 'breakdancing thesis' to get tax funding for her expenses (it's very expensive to attend qualifying events in Au since breakdancing isn't a sponsored sport here). She also IMMEDIATELY jumped on tv shows and media deals that were throwing bags of cash at her after all this and started pushing the 'sexism' narrative along with her coach to divert attention from the corruption.

To understand her lack of empathy for the 9 yr old or everyone else who's above her, you have to understand her background. She did a degree in cultural studies that she did on breakdancing. And yes she calls herself Dr. These people who follow the social justice narrative, spend ther lives sponging off tax payer money and government grants. Her and her deadbeat husband are taking everyone for a ride and any critisim gets labelled as hate and jealousy.

While I do agree with the sentiment, you shoehorning "social justice" into your rant makes the whole thing laughable. Raygun is a severely sheltered super fan of breakdance culture. She feels entitled to greatness simply because she "studies" the culture extensively. Her husband is an enabler who surrounds the both of them with yes-men and possible corruption. Up until this point, Raygun had not heard any real criticism, allowing her to continue in her role play. This has 0 to do with the so-called "social justice narrative".

Yeah she did a couple cool moves here actually. One thing I think that really makes her look amateur though is her transition from one move to the other. She like.. stalls out and it looks really awkward. It's like she pauses between every move.

That's the same thing "Raygun" did at the Olympics. She didn't perform any breakdancing moves. She started to go into some of the moves, but she gave up on each of them.

To be fair, a 9 year old weighing something like 50lbs should be able to move better than adults who weigh at least 100 lbs. Big difference in size and weight.
That said, Raygun shouldn't even be called a Breakdancer.

Raygun is really good at mopping the floor. Maybe she could go on Shark Tank wearing a Snuggie made out of mop heads. She throws some Fabuloso on the ground and proceeds to do her thing. Then show everybody how clean the floor is now from doing the Homer Simpson windmill on the ground for 5 minutes straight.

I am a 54 year old Aussie bloke and remember when all the acid(LSD) babies flipped on their heads and revolutionised dancing . Athleticism combined with creativity. We couldn't believe this was possible to do, then everyone wanted to dance like that. Many tried, most failed. Unfortunately Raygun is in the latter category.

  • @MrHitotsumusha

Not talking about Raygun in this comment. But here is something interesting. When I lived in an area called Shonandai(Fujisawa City) in Kanagawa prefecture, every time I come home in the evening I have always seen a bunch of people practicing in the station. No one really cared as long as it wasn't bothering anyone. The point is, Japan has so much people that always had interest in breakdancing. They put their heart and soul into a vested interest and really go all out till it's almost perfect. Sui is amazing and it shows she puts her all into it because she loves the art.

Let's be honest for a moment: Raygun is not bad because she doesn't know how to break. She's just ok for a middle age woman whose hobby is to dance once in a while. What makes her a bad bgirl is the fact that she actively trying to step above other, making them believe that she's a good bgirl in a world in which many talented bgirls are as good (if not better) than most of (beginners and intermediate) bboys. So, she's just an ok dancer who decided to play the villain.
